Jaume leaps over (or besides, if she gets up, I guess) Cassandra and strikes at the claw beast with his Thundertooth Baton, aiming for the head!

Thy definition of a 'few hours' is very peculiar, sir Josephus :P

Kombat!

Turn Order: Cassandra and Jaume Versus Claw Beast
1. Cassandra
2. Jaume
3. Claw Beast

Turn Order: Pierre, Elizabeth, and Cecilia versus Python
1. Pierre
2. Cecilia
3. Python
4. Inky Beast
5. Elizabeth

P, E, C vs Python

You dun goofed, python, Called shot to the head, time to make a brain slushie

Attack Roll: 4 - 1 (called shot:head) + 1 (Waterborn) = 4
Defensive Roll (Python): Natural 1
Damage Roll: 5 - 2 (snakeskin) = 3 (cumulative wound - Heavy Wound!)
Roll to Stay Conscious: 4 (success)
Coin Flip: Heads (success)

Pierre claps his gloves together and crashes down upon Python's snout with a thunderous hammerblow! The attack glances off its scales and rattles the creature, sending it reeling.

Take another shot at the python. Try not to hit Elizabeth

Attack Roll: 5 + 1 (moonchild) + 1 (archer) = 7
Defensive Roll (Python): Natural 6 + 2 = 8 (miss)

Cecilia brings her submachine gun up again and fires at Python with almost unerring accuracy. Almost.

The huge serpent cocks its head a little to the side, and as sheer luck would have it, the bullet darts past.

Quote from: Python
SQUEEEEZE

Attack Roll: 3 + 2 (enfolded target) = 5
Defensive Roll (Elizabeth): 3
Damage Roll: 5 - 1 (combat vest) = 4 (Heavy wound)
Roll to Stay Conscious: Natural 6

Ornery and wounded, Python squeezes. There is a cracking sound. Elizabeth cries out in pain.

Quote from: Inky Beast
Savage this vile creature, forthwith!

Attack Rolls: 3 + 1 (lupine), 5 + 1 (lupine) - 1
Defensive Rolls (Python): 5 + 2 (sidewinder), 3 + 2 (sidewinder) (miss, hit)
Location Roll: 4 (midbody)
Damage Roll: 1 + 1 (lupine) - 2 (snakeskin) = 0

Roaring, the Inky Beast tenses its brackish muscles and strikes at the serpent again. It misses with the first strike and hits home with the second, but the creature's scales deflect its claws!

You dun goofed, python, Called shot to the head, time to make a brain slushie

It's wrapped around Elizabeth! D:

-Igor! Eat the python or something!

Elizabeth struggles to get free.

Break Combat!
Movement Roll: 4 + 1 (black boots) + 1 (IGOR!) - 2 (Grabbed) - 1 (ribs!) = 3

With a superhuman effort, Elizabeth frees herself from Python's coils and collapses onto the road beside, trying to breathe.

Cassandra and Jaume versus Claw Beast

Get up, and beat the shit out of the Claw Beast
You just messed with the wrong blind girl, you stupid thing!

Attack Roll: 5 + 1 (Just Desserts) - 1 (Beast Knife)
Defensive Roll (Claw Beast): 2
Location Roll: 3 (foreleg:left foreleg)
Damage Roll: 3 - 1 (Big) + 1 (Beast Knife) = 3 (Wound)

Cassandra flashes her beast knife at the Claw Beast and scores it in the leg, drawing blood!

Jaume leaps over (or besides, if she gets up, I guess) Cassandra and strikes at the claw beast with his Thundertooth Baton, aiming for the head!

Attack Roll: Natural 1

Jaume ducks around Cassandra, bringing his toothed thunder baton thing around in a crackling blow!

But he misses entirely, taking a huge section out of the wall next to him.

Quote from: Claw Beast
What is this strangely familiar black stuff? DEPRIVE this silly weak creature of her protection!

Attack Roll: 5 - 1 (called shot:upper torso) = 4
Defensive Roll (Cassandra): 2 (Hit)
Damage Roll: 3 - 2 (carapace armor) + 1 (claws) = 2 (light wound)

The beast roars, and tears at Cassandra with its teeth! Its teeth tear her carapace armor to pieces, shredding it beyond repair.

Shit.

Try to cause a distraction to lure the monsters away from the crash site.

Result: 4

Jane gives the dumpster a shove. It doesn't budge.

Thinking, she remembers the time back at the strange facility where she caused an explosion by thought alone.

Focusing all her mental power on causing it again, she narrows her eyes, and...

BOOM!

MiRaClEs.

Jane

Jane sees the giant sized man things look off into the distance dumbly, and stump off towards the west, followed by an entourage of twisted men.

Only the flaming young man remains.

He turns slowly, and ohymygod he winks at Jane. It appears he knows she's there.

Everyone Else

Still engaged in Mortal Combat.

Damn those Romans, building road networks and hygienic- and educational facilities!  ;)

Duck away from wall-debris if necessary, and then ram the beastie in an attempt to get it off Cassandra.
