Turn Order
1. Cecilia
2. Inky Beast
3. Pierre
4. Claw Beast 3
5. Claw Beast 1
6. Cassandra
7. Claw Beast 2
8. Jane
9. Giant Size Man Thing 1
10. Jaume
11. Elizabeth
12. Giant Size Man Thing 2

Combat!

Oh man I have no clue what's going on.  :P

Slash the man thing with sword. Thank inky beast for being awesome.

Result: 4 + 1 (moonchild)
Attack Roll: 2 + 1 (moonchild) = 3
Defensive Roll: 3 + 2 (car door) - 1 (too big) = 4 (miss!)

Cecilia shouts a word of encouragement to her stalwart, misshapen defender, and deftly swaps her gun for her sword, clamping the latter to her hip holster. She leaps at the giant creature that has approached them! She brings the sword around in a heavy blow, but her attack sparks off the creature's shield, leaving a scorch mark across the surface!

Quote from: Inky Beast
Kill CB3

Attack Rolls: 2 + 1 (lupine), 5 + 1 (lupine)
Defensive Rolls: 1, 6 (Hit, Miss)
Location Roll: 4 (lower torso)
Damage Roll: 3 + 1 (lupine) - 1 (Big) = 3 (wounded)

The Inky Beast lashes out at the Claw Beast, raking its claws across its flank! The beast shrieks in pain and staggers (-1 to next roll).

Another lighning shot at the prone one

Attack Roll: 1 + 1 (waterborn) = 2
Defensive Roll (GSMT1): Natural 1
Location Roll: 6 (head)
Damage Roll: 6 + 1 (waterborn) = 7 (OVERKILL)

Pierre claps his hands together and generates another bolt between his palms. Setting his feet wide, he hurls the electrical bolt at the prone giant!

The bolt strikes the giant in the head and blows a huge chunk out of its cranium, splattering black gore everywhere, where it festers.

Quote from: CB3
Take down the prey!

Movement Roll: 5 - 1 (Pain) - 1 (Twisted) = 3
Attack Roll: 6, 4
Defensive Roll (Jane): 3 + 2, 5 + 2 (hit, Miss)
Location Roll: 2 (upper torso)
Damage Roll: 3 - 1 (Teucer Armor) + 1 (Claws) = 3

The claw beast shakes off the blow from the inky beast and shoulders it aside! It lashes out at Jane with its claws, finding a weak spot in the armor of the Left Leg! It gashes her in the thigh, eliciting a grunt of pain (-1 to next roll).

Attack random Claw Beast

Movement Roll: Natural 1

Cassandra lunges at the Claw Beast, bringing her sword up high!

And promptly trips.

Roll to Dodge!: 4

Cassandra catches herself and steadies herself easily, raising her sword. She is now right next to the giant with the car door.

Man I really messed that thing up there...

Anyways I will go for the giant creature that attacked me.

Attack Roll: 5 + 1 (spearmaster) - 1 (Twisted Spear), Natural 1
Defensive Roll (CB3): 3, 5 (hit, miss)
Location Roll: 3 (right arm)
Damage Roll: Natural 6 + 1 (spearmaster) + 1 (twisted spear)

As Pierre's huge bolt smashes into the giant's head and kills it, Jane redirects her attention to the problem at hand. Angling her twisted spear at the Claw Beast that perforated her side, she strikes its foreleg off at it wheels away from her, spraying a gout of black blood across the pavement! It falls, rapidly dying.

Quote from: GMST1
Flail attack!

Cracked like an egg.

Move closer to Cassandra, keep a defensive stance.

Movement Roll: Natural 6

Jaume follows Cassandra as she leaps ahead, running in spite of his lame leg. He takes up a protective stance against the Giant Sized Man Thing near them.

Elizabeth goes obvious way - the monster needs more molten lead.

Attack Roll: 3, 4 - 1, 4 - 2
Defensive Rolls: Natural 6, 5 + 2 - 1, 3 + 2 - 1 (Miss, Miss, Miss)

Elizabeth turns her ire on the only surviving enemy, directing a burst of shots from her gun at the giant. The beast catches all three on its car-door shield.

Quote from: GMST2
Charge the tiny people! Smash small woman!

Attack Roll: 5 - 1 (too big)
Defensive Roll (Cassandra): 5 + 1 (Jaume) (miss)

The huge beast bellows and swings his car door at Cassandra. Jaume instinctively shoves her down, but she would have dodged the attack anyway.

Jane

Standing near the CB and GMST1 corpses, and Inky Beast.

This time she was just unlucky; Acanthus wanted her to attack the nearest Claw Beast, which called for a movement roll because it was far. Natural 1, and she trips. This time it wasn't even the blindness, this was just bad dice luck.

Jaume lunges at the Giant Sized Man Thing from the ground, calling a shot at the right leg with his toothed thundrous rubber baton!

Giant sized man thing. Slightly Freudian, eh?

Turn Order
1. Cecilia
2. Inky Beast
3. Pierre
4. Claw Beast 3
5. Claw Beast 1

6. Cassandra
7. Claw Beast 2
8. Jane
9. Giant Size Man Thing 1
10. Jaume
11. Elizabeth
12. Giant Size Man Thing 2

Combat!

Slash again!

Attack Roll: 4 + 1 (moonchild) = 5
Defensive Roll (GMST2): 2 + 2 (Car Door) = 4
Location Roll: 4 - 1 (size modifier) = 3 (arm:left arm)
Damage Roll: Natural 6 - 1 = 5 (Mangled)
Fire Coin Flip: Heads
Roll to stay conscious: 4 (failure)

Unperturbed by the giant's rebuff of her previous attack, Cecilia attempts another strike, this time flashing her sword around the creature's guard.

The sword strikes the giant in the forearm, tearing a ragged gash up the muscle and severing a tendon! The arm bursts into flame. The creature lets out a confused yell of pain and collapses.

Pierre uses Thundebolt !

It's super effective!

Wont fix what's not broken, lightning, GSMT ward.

Attack Roll: 4 + 1 (waterborn)
Defensive Roll: Natural 1
Location Roll: 5 (upper torso)
Damage Roll: Natural 6 - 1 (tough skin) + 1 (waterborn) = 6

Pierre revs up another massive electric bolt and flings it at the fallen monster. The arc of energy strikes the creature in the chest, blowing out its sternum and leaving its torso a smoking ruin!

KILL! MAIM! STAB! SLASH!

No roll necessary

Cassandra flails around wildly with her sword before she realizes the beast is dead.

Head over to the others and shout encouragement.

Result: 3

Wincing slightly, Jane makes her way over to the others and shouts encouragement! Not that they need it, really, considering that the fight is over. But the others are slightly cheered up. (+1 to next roll: all)

Jaume lunges at the Giant Sized Man Thing from the ground, calling a shot at the right leg with his toothed thundrous rubber baton!

Giant sized man thing. Slightly Freudian, eh?

No roll necessary

Musing on the bizarre imagery of "giant one-eyed monsters", Jaume prods the dead creature with his malformed weapon.

Elizabeth spends a turn laughing at Cassandra's tripping, ponders giving her black boots.

No roll necessary

Giggling madly at Cassandra's unfortunate tendency to trip, Elizabeth wonders if her own black boots would be of any use.

Quote from: GMST2
Smash small lady

No roll necessary when you're dead AND on fire.

Current Situation

All

The street stretches onwards. Northwards is an intersection, Eastward is the stream, West is a block of houses. A plume of smoke is visible to the north, and the sun is setting.

There are monster corpses everywhere. Yeah.

Cassandra has a good feeling about one of the houses on the west, but she can't pinpoint which one. She also has a terrible feeling about the North, but feels that with great risk comes great reward.

She feels nothing in particular about the east, and feels that the survivors in the general store should be safe now that the creatures have been killed.

The buzzing in Cecilia's head starts up again.
