Cecilia darts backward quickly, putting herself out of the Twisted Man's reach, and levels her pistols at him!

Damage Roll: 1 + 1 + 1 (Archer) = 3 (Wounded)
Attack Roll: 4 + 1 (Archer) - 1 (off-hand) = 4
Defensive Roll: 5 (Miss!)

She fires twice again, noticing that her pistols are running low on ammo. The first shot embeds itself in the Twisted Man's chest, but the second shot misses as the thing ducks slightly.

Of course,send the prod TM-ward.

Gotta work, so reserve action examining the twisted man, to see if they are the 2 man that were in the corridors, and check if the best claw look like the claw mark again in the corridor.

Defensive Roll: 4 (Hit!)
Location Roll: 6 (Head)
Damage Roll: Natural Six (O_o) (two sixes in a row? Really, Dice Roller?)

Seizing his chance, Pierre pushes off of the Claw Beast's stinking corpse and sends his shock prod at the Twisted Man's face. The end of the prod crunches through the thing's forehead, and the resultant electric shock fries its brain and causes its already loose face skin to slough off.

Ha ha ha. I love Elizabeth's rolls

-Here, m'dear, let Herr Doktor help ya!

Instead of fighting with the last of zombies, Elizabeth moves to Cassandra, takes out medkit and tries to apply bandage or anything appropriate on her head wound.

Result: 3 (weak success)

Elizabeth turns to Cassandra. "Now, dear, hold still, and let me play Doktor for a second," she says, winking.

She applies a patch of gauze and tape to Cassandra's forehead. The First Aid Kit's supplies are not unduly depleted.

Or investigate their corpses

Result: 5

The zombie things felled, Jane meanders over to their corpses. They seem to have nothing but rags, which are quickly... melting into their flesh?

I guess I'll retry my attempts to attain blindvision.

Result: 4 (success!)

Cassandra stands up, brushes herself off, and again attempts to learn where things are by hearing alone. She can clearly tell where Pierre, Cecilia, Jane and Elizabeth (who is busy fussing over her head wound) are. Perhaps she is getting better at this?

Attack Cecilia again.

He can't. Because his face melted off.

Current Situation:

Cecilia
"Well done!"

Cecilia jumps. "Who was that?"

"It's me. The man you killed. I'm inside your head."

"You're what?"

"I did say I'd give you answers. But for now, I mean to congratulate you on taking down one of Myhmesser's abominations."

"Whose?"

"The doctor I was telling you about. This dog-beast-monstrosity was created by contact with the Beastfather's blood."

Cecilia looks at the three who have been splashed with the blood. "So are those three in danger?"

The voice laughs. "Not quite... I will explain."

Cecilia shrugs and begins to tear the sleeves and legs of her jumpsuit off.

Pierre

Pierre hears vague hints of what is going on in Cecilia's head. It appears being struck by the big man's golden light has affected him mentally as well. However, he is rather busy lording it over his second kill of the battle.

"Sweetheart, why are you ripping up your outfit?" he asks Cecilia.

"Don't call me that, I said."

"Well, why are you doing it?"

She shrugs. "I was struck by a sudden need to look better."

Jane, Cassandra, Elizabeth

Jane's spear, previously affected by the Claw Beast's blood, begins to change, twisting itself into a new, tougher, deadlier shape!

Cassandra's Kevlar Vest and Lab Coat, similarly splashed, meld into each other, steadily turning black,. forming a breastplate-like carapace. Unfortunately any items inside the lab coat are now stuck to you. Her surgical saw similarly begins to twist and smoke, melding itself into something more ancient and violent-looking...

Elizabeth's Lab Coat and patient's gown meld into each other, forming a night-black suit that cleaves to her skin rather possessively. It appears that her Baton and First Aid Kit are now held to her side by black loops or tendrils...

No, it won't. It also won't affect Cecilia's Pistols, your Jumpsuits, or Elizabeth's battery-operated saw. The big man is about to explain why, but I might as well also explain while you guys are wondering.

The blood affects anything untouched by human ingenuity. It will harm and transform natural humans (turning them into Twisted Men), animals (hence the Claw Beast), but not you (modified humans). It will also transform low-tech items. Your polyurethane jumpsuits are high tech, as is your shock prod, Cecilia's guns, and the battery-operated saw. The Lab Coats and Kevlar Vest are not, technically, high-tech (unless I made a mistake in researching Kevlar... come to think of it, maybe I did.)

Cue everyone dipping their stuff in the blood to see what happens. Or someone carrying a vial of blood around to use as a weapon.
