Already done leveling. That was simple. All I got was +4 to Str, 2 more natural armor, full breath weapon damage (my once daily now deals 6d8, stay out of my way Ulf), and the dragon type, dropping the dragonblood subtype. Be sure to tell us the amount of EXP we have.

I haven't leveled up yet, but does increasing a stat from 8 to 9 change the modifier from -1 to -0?

No, it's even/odd for modifiers. 8/9 -1, 10/11 0, 12/13 +1, 14/15 +2, 16/17 +3, 18/19 +4, etc.

Wow, that means we need 2680 to level to 5th. We're going along rather nicely.

So what do you think of the power balance Criptfeind? I think we're doing good. Rorakar is great with his bow, Ulf is great with his hack-and-slashing, Arman is great at tripping and reach is just awesome, Iituem is great at stealth, and I'm great at... utility I guess, don't really have any real spells yet. I think I'll do a lot better once I get to a higher level and get some actual spells.

Edit: What's your stance on retraining feats? Not planning to now, but I will later if I can.

With the bonuses you're getting from this next level, I can't imagine you'd be far off of Ulf in terms of damage dealing, with the handy benefit of spell-based armor. You probably can't cleave, but that's Ulf's thing anyway.

I'd say we have a pretty balanced party, actually. We have one of almost every main character type, though our cleric doesn't do much healing. (Not that I mind, spiked chain fighters help too.)

EDIT: Time to get an animal companion. I'm thinking I should get either a snake or a badger, but I was wondering if I could replace my animal companion with something else, because my character doesn't seem like the type to pick up some random animal. I could work it in, but it'd take a bit of work.
