Did the sessions start about this time, two days prior?

Buh?  Oh, you mean this time of day.  I think they were meant to start about two hours before, but they never got going on time.

I am tentatively planning to try to run something, in about a week's time. This will take place here to take advantage of the established group and will, presumably, step aside when the former D.M. returns to active duty.

This is primarily for those who participated in the previous campaign, though, theoretically, others may join if they choose to. If I still haven't done any preparation by friday I might postpone it...

Some rules:
I prefer if things are almost entirely from the S.R.D. to keep things simple and give everyone the same options. If you have a specific intent for your character that cannot be fulfilled by the S.R.D. then please state what you want to do and I will try to come up with something.
 This is not eberron.
I reserve the right to rebalance anything in any way at any time. This could result in your character spontaneously becoming much less awesome...
Experience points will be in a group pool. ?Levels will be based upon a fraction of this pool, as will encounters, and item creation/level loss will probably be taken out directly.
I am thinking of experimenting with an alternative means of multiclassing, whereby multiclass characters will base their level upon a fraction of normal experience points and be a gestalt of the two classes. For example, at 50000 xp each character might have 10000 xp and a cleric/druid might be level 3(5000 experience points) but have the combined features of cleric and druid while a fighter/rogue/barbarian might also be level 3(3333+1/3 experience points) and be gearing up for raging spring attacks to the weak point... This is, of course, highly experimental... Prestige classes would take a break from this and base level upon the full normal amount with the xp lost due to multiclassing subtracted.
The plan is that you start as prisoners. I suggest to law-abiding characters that there are aristocrats running around that can do just about anything that they like to civilians, but if your character cannot handle being in prison, or around criminals, for whatever reason, then it could be a problem.

P.S.
I started this message forty-five minutes ago, but precise start times are likely to be variable, likely around 10-12PM G.M.T., which should be about now. I haven't had any success with any sort of port forwarding or hamachi or anything, so I will be relying upon Criptfeind to host. I don't know if there are any issues with the host being a player and the D.M. not being the host but hope for the best.

Sure, I would host your maps and what not. I am pretty sure I know how to make others the GM.

I don't quite under stand your exact reason for using this thread, things have changed in the past several months, so I am not sure if we all can get together at the old times (Example Cfoofoo) But I guess I am fine with that as well.

Well if the old group are not available I will start a new thread I suppose, Or I am happy to start a new one regardless if you would prefer that.

With the lack of responses I will probably postpone it for a week and start a new thread, I should probably see if I can create a new hamachi channel too, so as to avoid clogging up the current one.

P.S.
Postponing it for another week while I work on my theory of universal macro. Pretty much guaranteed to make a new thread at this point too.

I've been really missing this game. Is there still interest from anyone else?

Oh man. This thing. I am also missing it.

If I was to restart it I would need to really plot out a fuller story, cause my old one was way to big, it left level wide holes in it, which is what I meant to do so you guys would only have to spend 1/3 of your time saving the world and the rest could be player driven. But then I learned more about the player/Gm dynamic and it was a lot harder then I thought it would be.

If I did restart this by the way, I would bump you guys up to level 5 with the right WBL, cause I totally lost track of it at some point. I think my loot notes are gone about two computer crashes ago.

I still have my sheet. I was level 5, but have no idea what my total wealth is. I'll go PM the rest of the crew, just in case they miss the bump.

Just so you know I'd love to have this back, as long as we're talking about the possibility. Also my character is indeed level 5.

Don't worry, it was just an invitation to show interest.

Hum. How much EXP do you have? Cause I swear I was planning on bumping it up a tad.
