Kerish smiles inwardly as the monk returns to the warehouse. She was contemplating whether or not to abandon her perch to pursue him, but he thankfully finished the conversation before she committed needlessly. He seemed to be taking an interest in the warstrider, so she decided to take note of it as well.

Dragnar took all four of the artifacts, placing the daggers in his bag for now, while he carried the sword and shield with him back into the main room. "Well, still no way out... Lets see what's behind door number three!" He muttered to himself as he walked over to the other side of the room.

From this thread, I learned that video cameras have a dangerosity of 60 kiloswords per second.  Thanks again, Mad Max.

"Awww... Well I have to call you something." Lera paused to think, she couldn't botch this. It was a proud and powerful warstrider, some simply, stupid name wouldn't do. So she thought, putting more effort into this then possibly anything she had done in the past week or so. "I'll call you Durun. That was my grandfathers name." She said at last.

Akar.

Taking a closer look, it seems the red warstrider was designed without a head. At least, there are no signs that a head was ripped from the chassis. The lower torso and legs of the machine are still buried in the earth, and it appears the way inside is a bulkhead door where the neck should be.

You Lot.

"New name accepted. Do you wish to calibrate personal interaction settings at this time?"

"Ummmm, o.k?" Lera said, not quite sure what was going on but willing to roll with it for the time being.

"EZ! EZZZZ! WHERE ARE YOU EZ! I NEED TO BORROW YOUR HEARTHSTONE FOR A SECOND!" Lera yelled, jumping out of the warstrider and running out, looking around for him desperately.

Akar walked over to the Warstrider, intrigued. If it wasn't supposed to have a head... it might not be in that bad of shape. He still would have Amara take a look at it, of course. The Monk walked over to the door, intending to open it. He doubted it was operational. But he might as well take a look inside.

"Um, I'm over here, Lera.  Assuming I'm the one you want, anyway."  Elzal called as he reached into the crate to touch the jade orb.

"I need to borrow your hearthstone real fast. I'll give it back when we leave, promise!" Lera said quickly, and obviously very excited.

Akar.

It takes a fair bit of effort to open the door to get inside, and as it opens, the remains of former pilot of the machine falls out. It wears the remains of a Lookshy uniform, and they appear to have been trying to get out, fruitlessly.

The monk can also see the coating of dust that's built up inside, but aside from being buried, there's little damage.

You lot.

Elzal: The jade ball feels pleasantly warm to the touch.

Akar removed the remains, setting them aside carefully. Lookshy or not, he was still of the Chosen of the Dragons. He deserved a proper burial. The Immaculate looked about, curiously. Did the Warstrider become... buried somehow? Trapping the pilot? If it was fully operational, and just unable to move...

Akar looked about for the slot to insert the Hearthstone from the ouside the Warstrider, fingering his current one.

"Where is Captain Raio..."

As he walked through the doors, Rovell spotted Dragnar exiting out of one of the side rooms.  He opened his mouth to tell him about the skysleds on the other side of the structure, when he spotted something.  A very familiar symbol, emblazoned on a shield of orichalcum.  The same symbol that would appear when Rovell channeled a large portion of his essence.

He approached Dragnar quickly, forgetting about the skysleds for the moment.

"Where did you find this?" He asked, gesturing to the shield.

Akar.

The hearthstone slot of the warstrider is full, a transparent yellow disc slotted neatly in place.

Akar reached down, careful to not let the hatch of the Warstrider close on him, and pulled free the dormant Hearthstone. It was useless to him for now, but it was best to not throw such artifacts away. He pocketed it, and continued. He pulled free his Percision of Form Gemstone, slotting it into place. Then he began channelling Essence into it, curious if he could awaken the dormant Machine.

"I'm gonna have to ask you what you want it for, first.  But you can probably borrow it."  Elzal said, slightly preoccupied by the orb.  Placing both hands around it, he carefully lifted it out of the box.  "Any idea what this is?"
