Wandering over to one of the jade suits, Elzal began to poke through the boxes stacked next to it, the best he could.

The things that attached to her body tickled a little, but it was alright. Before long she had finished the attunement, and was settling into the seat, and getting ready to take her new warstrider for a spin. "Hello! I'm Lera, the Alabaster Lion. Who are you, and why are you in my warstrider?" Lera said cheerfully. She was somewhat confused, yes, but at this point nothing could ruin her day.

Akar looked at one of the guards, staring him down after settling his Anima down.

"Soldier, go get Captain Raio. Now. I need to speak with her. Tell her Cathak Akar said so."

Akar looked at the fellow, his manner of one expect to be obeyed. He needed to talk to the good captain. A little revolution didn't sound like a bad idea at this point.

Rovell shook his head in amusement.  Skysleds.  Useless to him, at the moment, but still.  He made a mental note to pick one up later, then began the walk back to the group on the other side of the room.  He doubted that they would have any immediate use for them either, beyond simply returning them to Great Forks, but still.  He might as well tell them what he found.

As Wisdom looked over the devices and their incomprehensible labels, Dragnar moved on to the next door, looking to see what else this place had to offer.

Akar

The nearest guard seems somewhat frazzled, but is going about his duty with remarkable competence.
"Uh... yes sir. Is... is it about this?"

You Lot

Lera: A moments pause, then it speaks again, this time in the same language you just used.
"New language added. Is this correct?"

Dragnar: The room is fairly long, and stacked with weapons. Swords, Axes, Spears, Shields. Mostly identikit ones made of Jade, but there is the glint of gold and silver at the far end.

"Yup!" Lera said, though she was a little worried now, the voice had yet to identify itself. "What are you? Are you a spirit?"

Akar nodded at the guard.

"It is intimately connected. Captain Raio will brief you about what needs to be done, when she gets here."

Noticing the glints of gold at the end of the room Dragnar walked forward, scanning the massive rows of weapons for something he could use. Finding a way out of here was important... but why should Lera be the only one to leave with a new toy?

Wisdom snorted and ducked out of the room. He'd already given his word he would take nothing.

"Undertow. Ifrit. Move through the walls and ceilings. See if you can find anyplace that stands out. Libraries, conservatories, large scale crafting rooms. Perhaps a central place of control or oversight. Report back to me if you find any such thing AND a way to walk there without going through walls."

This said he left and followed after Dragnar.

Gold wandered for a short while between the massive warstriders. The scale was impressive, almost overwhelming- alone, each would be merely large. Together, the veritable forest of powerful artifacts was almost bewildering.

What he finally stopped near was not a warstrider, but one of the tools near it. He picked it up, hefted it, examined it, tried to divine its function. It was alien to him, and that seemed somehow... wrong. Many of the monks at his monastery had practiced some sort of craft or trade, either for practical use, constructive hobby, or to better understand through creating. Gold had always regarded that as a waste of time- he had better things to do than weave shirts or assemble chests all day.

But now, his lack of ability to make anything somehow seemed... deficient. Something he should be able to do, but couldn't. Before, a hammer or sock had seemed ridiculously mundane and simple, and so his ineptitude with them irrelevant. Now, their base nature seemed to accentuate his incompetence- he couldn't even make his own clothes or forge his own weapons. Wonders like those above him were beyond him entirely.

He paused a moment, looking around again. He would one day command wonders like this, and not from pilfering them from some tomb. He put the tool back in its place and began jogging to find Wisdom. Perhaps he could tell him more about such endeavors.

Akar and Friend.

The soldier salutes and runs off in the rough direction of the town hall.

You Lot.

Lera: "No. Please reenter user data."

Dragnar: The golden relics at the end are very few in number. It seems more than a few are missing, either not delivered or removed. What remains are a long, narrow, elegant blade, a pair of golden daggers, and a shield bearing what would appear to be a floating tree, roots exposed.

Wisdom: The two spirits disperse, the Ifrit looking mildly annoyed by the assignment.

Elzal: A large orb of Green Jade lies inside the box, orichalcum ringing it in a spiral.

Gold: ((Get on to AIM  : P ))

Akar walked back into the Warehouse, intending to take a look at the Warstrider... and wait for Alice.

"Ummmm I'm Lera Velyn, the Alabaster Lion. I said that already. What are you anyway? Do you have a name?"

Getting this warstrider to work was proving much more difficult then she had imagined.... Oh well. Nothing worth doing in life was easy, that was true. Once this was done she'd have not one, but two warstriders all to her own!

Lera: "Welcome, Lera Velyn, the Alabaster Lion. I am this device's AI. I do not have a name."
