The dome doesn't budge. It does feel slightly tingly to Lera's claws.

Feeling a little creative, Lera tries to force her essence through it, and attune to it.

Rovell walked up to the pedestal and dome, as well.  Unlike Lera, however, he wanted to figure out what the thing was before attempting silly tactics to get it to do whatever it was supposed to do.  Not that she didn't look absolutely adorable trying it, but still.

As Lera pours her essence into the dome, it glows brightly. The floor of the room shifts suddenly, then spins 360, before beginning to swiftly descend.

"Huh. This was unexpected." Lera murmured, keeping her hand on the dome, just in case it would stop moving if she left it alone. Well, at least it was working now!

"Yes, yes it was."

Rovell sat down, resting his back against the pedestal.

"Then what was expected?" Gold asked Lera, raising an eyebrow. He was pretty sure he knew the answer, but the Lunar might know something he didn't.

Dragnar sighed and sat down, leaning against the dome. "Yes, it's working... Though would you please try being a bit more careful? Who knows what this thing could have done?"

Akar looked the fellow, following his eyes. He was annoyed.

"Go. Now. And take your puppets with you. I'd advise you run very far, and very fast. Because If you are still around when I have finished here, I'm going to hunt you down and kill you."

Akar struck again, his Blades a flurry of flame and blade, not wasting attacks. He wasn't looking to scare them off. If he hd to, he would quite simply kill them all. The Fire Immaculate Blades struck high, low, and at the mid section. The Apes would flee, or they would die. That was the only choices open to them.

Akar.

"Apes! Panic wildly!" cries the dude, gaining a burst of speed an running out into the street through to front door, a trail of black ink flowing through the air as he runs and eating away at the door and wall.

Akar hears little but the screams of the dying and panicking ape demons as he kills them with fire and sword, though there is an undercurrent of more human screams.

You lot.

The Platform descends for quite some time, before opening into a vast cavern. All around them, the group can see what look like suits of jade armour of all colours, stretching away in ranks, each rank separated by long lines of weapon racks and boxes. There are hundreds of suits arrayed out below. Two sets of large doors, easily big enough for the suits to get through, are in opposite sides of the cavernous room.

As they descend, though, the armours get bigger and bigger, and eventually the group touches the floor. The suits of armour stand tall around them, towering a good 11-13 feet above your heads. Even the smallest of the weapons is nearly as large as the tallest of you.

"Jade.... Jade.... Jade... Damnit! Rwovell! Drwagnar! Help me look for some moonsilver!" Lera cried, running in between the various artifacts in a way uncannily similar to a small child shredding through birthday presents.

Rovell nodded and ran off looking in the opposite direction.  Jade was better than nothing, true, but he would most certainly prefer orichalcum for himself and moonsilver for Lera.  Easier to use, and he thought that they might be more aesthetically pleasing.

Akar killed the Apes, slaughtering them all with slashing cuts, his face a picture of serenity. Once they had all died, the Immaculate sighed, sheathing his blades once more.

"Hmmmm... I best tell Captain Raio."

Akar looked up at the Warstrider. It would take some work to get online, even he could tell that. Amara would know how much. Either way, they would take it with them. Akar sighed, and walked through the front door as well, looking for some Guardsman.

Dragnar stands and takes a good look around the cavern. "We're in no rush. Our first priority is to find a way out of here, seeing as we won't be leaving that way. We can sort through everything later." He then walks off down the nearest hallway, searching for some other way to get all this stuff out of here.

Rovell sighed, stopping his search.  Dragnar was correct, in this case.  Besides, it was becoming obvious to him that there was only jade in this cache.

Instead, he decided to examine the doors at one end of the cavern.  Clearly, doors would lead somewhere.  That was relatively intuitive, and he had no idea why Dragnar was making such a big deal about it.
