Akar.

Akar cleaves though the first Ape with ease, striking it down where it stands. The next one falls to Akar's next two strokes. But his forth... his forth slice catches in the hut, embedding deep in the wood and refusing to budge.

The silk-clad man jumps, swinging his sword in an arc and a whirlwind of black ink as he leaps at Akar.

Akar looks at the fellow, releasing his blade as he lacked any other choice. His Anima flared slightly as the Immaculate's form danced once more, appearing to shift and ripple in the heat of the flames, distorting the light. He nevertheless also flung himself out of the way, ducking into a roll to escape the blade. He came to his feet, Flames burning around him.

"Care to try again?"

The Immaculate smiled grimly, pulling free his Sword from the side of the hut.

Akar.

Inky black liquid swirls thick around him, like some twisted version of the animas of the Children of Daana'd "Sure. But first, you have some more friends of mine to meet."

As the monkeys swarm around Akar, blocking him from the Silk-Clad Man, their leader again gets impaitent, pointing to five that haven't joined the fray yet. "You lot. Get yourselves ready."

You lot.

The roof is shaky, and looks to be in a bad way. There can't be long before it falls.

Laia calls out. "Wisdom-elder! Over here!"

Wisdom nodded as Laia, and dashed towards her, weaving between the combatants to her.

"The roofs coming down. Leave them!" He shouted hastily as he scrambled for the door.

"Gotcha!" Lera yelled, grabbing Dragnar by the arm and dashing toward door that lead deeper into the Cache. She was getting those artifacts, one way or another.

Akar smiled at the man, continuing his dodging, flames surrounding him in a torrent of Red. The heat continued to warp the light around him, giving him a shimmering appearance, his movements taking on that aspect. Watching him move was a strange. Two things remained steady however. Red Eyes, staring at the man. The Apes claws met nothing but the fire and the flame.

"You are going to need some new toys."

Akar smiled, the flames glowing bright red as he leapt out of the pile of monkey's. The Immaculate was not finished, catching the side of the Hut, and powering toward his foe. The Monk smiled grimly, stabbing forth with one of his blades, Golden Blade, Crimson Flame, and Immaculate streaking toward the fellow. The strike would not miss, could not miss. The Immaculate behind it would not allow it to.

"The Flame shall consume you!"

Rovell dashed after them towards the door.  Besides finding the artifacts, being crushed under several tons of falling stone seemed like a really, really bad idea.

Dragnar ran to keep up with Lera, careful not to trip as she practically dragged him along. Frankly, he could probably move faster without her "help", but this really wasn't the time to argue.

Akar.

Akar's sword cuts through the jacket, burning away the silk. Sparks fly, and the air becomes thick with the ink, which tears away at Akar, at the hut, at the apes. The ruined jacket falls away, to reveal a heavily scarred torso that bears no sign of Akar's last attack.

"Fire shall not avail you here!" Screamed the bloke, clearly insane with something. Mid cackle, he pauses. "Though yes, these things are fairly useless."

The apes, hurt by both his words and the malestrom of elements, still charge into the fray, even though they are mostly useless.

You Lot.

The Guardians are still going ballistic, blowing great chunks from the roof and speeding it's collapse, and Colin takes the chance to crubstomp one of them. The huge red ball that was previously firing lasers cracks and explodes in light.

Laia is next to a small series of buttons, and she's pressing at them wildly. "Is not working! Back home, this work, but not here!"

"Excuse me, Laia, I think I have an idea!"

Rovell stepped up next to her and examined the panel with the buttons.  Despite the power of the First Age, there were still many flaws built into systems such as these.  Manipulable wiring, essence disruptions capable of severing connection, and, of course, a common set of codes and passwords.

Despite Laia's claim that the passwords weren't working, Rovell allowed himself a moment to attempt to remember any passwords he may have picked up, either from reading or from a brief flashback he had heard others speak of in reference to certain Anathema.  Records were most certainly kept on these sorts of things, and if they existed, he might well have come across them at one point in time.  And, though he had never yet experienced any of these flashbacks, that didn't mean he couldn't hope for one before rocks fell on his head.

Either way, he thought he might have found a possible code buried deep within his memory.  Without another thought, and not caring where it may have come from, he entered it on the panel.

Raising up his bracer the bolts that Elzal had launched streaked back towards his bracer, merging with it and causing his anima to flare slightly.  Dashing forwards, he followed Lera's path.

Akar ignores the strike from the Man's... Miasma, even as he was wounded slightly by it. But he was an Immaculate, and would not be defeated so easily. The Immaculate struck at the man again, fire swirling around the bow with the Blade, as he launched another attack at the fellow.

"Once the Fire is Hot enough, it consumes all!"

Akar.

His faded and cracked black jade blade meets Akars flaming golden ones with a crash of black inky stuff and red fire. He jumps a small distance back, letting the apes fill the gap.

"This is rather pointless, you know, since we'll end up just killing each other at the same time. And killing these monkeys some time before then."

Rovell:

The rest of you: After a brief look about, Rovell seems to regain the urgency of the situation, and somehow opens the door with the use of an overcomplicated code.

Rovell shook his head, forcing himself to return to the present.  There was no time to think about what had occurred just now.  After all, a roof was still falling on their heads, and it was hardly easy to think with a crushed skull.

He ran through, shouting at the others to do the same.

Dragnar used the opening he had to run through the door before Lera could get a hold of him again. It was much better to run than be dragged. After getting through the door he stowed and turned to Rovell. "How did you get that door open? Wisdom's passwords didn't work on the automatons, and I can't think the door codes would be better known."
