Akar smiled, stepping forward in one clean motion. It wasn't a headlong charge like that of the Spiders. Akar was in perfect control of himself, easily able to react to situations. And he would cover the ground between them. Quick as a flame. A glowing spark of red, he charged into the the ranks of the Blood Apes.

As he moved, sliding into their ranks, the Swords flashed out, striking so fast they left afterimages. One burning thrust at a Blood Apes head, another at its gut. Slipping between two looking to close him in, and meeting them with two swift, burning thrusts of his blade. Another two chops, as he continued to move. The Blade burned with the Crimson flame, and Akar smiled as he struck.

Akar.

Two of the apes receive heavy wounds, but stay standing, just. The third dodges Akar's flaming blades.

Akar continues to run forward, pushing himself to move as quickly as possibly, slipping between the bodies of the Apes, his eyes focused on his distant target. The Swords didn't make their flickering blows this time, held defensively as the Immaculate rushed head long through the bodies.

Rovell ran at the automaton who had fired on him, sword in hand.  If it was that easy to block their light attacks, then cutting them to bits would likely prove a simple matter.

He swung the weapon at he thing's right leg, hoping to cripple it swiftly.  Then, with a quick spin, he hacked at it's other leg in a graceful motion, laughing silently at that which would soon to topple to the ground.

Dragnar effortlessly dodged the beams, quickly rolling out of their way. Before he was even up he was aiming for the first of the ancient machines, and as he came out of the roll he leaped forward and jabbed his two daggers into it's joints.

Wisdom hastily scrambled backwards, as the barrage let up. The front lines was no place for him.
However a hastily sent mental image to the helpful little water spirit conveyed his desires well enough, and he trusted the Ifrit's nature enough to not need instructions.

The Ifrit strode forward, batting aside the golem's arms with it's blazing sword, and making a thrust that blurred as though seen through intense heat, aimed to lodge in it's targets skull. Of course this was perhaps facilitated by the invisible Undertow ensnaring the automaton as best as it was able.

Akar.

The blood apes fly into a rage, tearing with their claws, then moving back to let even more of the get a shot at the Monk. But all of them are incapable of landing a blow, and suffer for their trying, getting burned by Akar's anima. The two Akar wounded fall and do not rise.

"Damn dirty apes! Get your acts together, attack like the god-damned unit you are!" Shouts the man, backing off from Akar by leaping onto the roof of his hut, a cracked and faded black jade Daiklave in one hand.

The whip-weilders keep their distance, not getting involved yet.

Akar smiled, dodging the grasping hands and clubs of the Blood Apes with a practiced ease. They were not a threat, unless the fellow could organize them. As it was, they simply would burn themselves. They couldn't swarm him under, and that was all the minor demons would be capable of. The Immaculate continued to rush toward the man on the roof of the Hut. That wouldn't save the idiot, of course.

"I told you, I'd do it your way. Ends the same as mine."

Easily sidestepping the automaton's attack, Elzal snapped his right arm up, pointing at the golem that had attacked him.  Clenching his fist, two large chunks of the bracer snapped off and rocketed forwards, razor sharp shards of crystal aiming for the chest of the automaton.  These shards of crystal were also on fire, courtesy of Elzal's hearthstone.

"Heh."

If Lera was daunted she did not show it, a half moon grin, spreading from ear to ear enveloped her face as violence broke over her like an ocean wave, washing the area around her, crushing it like sand before a storm. But she stood firm, a rock in the tempest, Lions tooth held in a steady, defensive grip before her, and claws extended, ready to strike. None of them understood yet, not really, they may know a little about full moons, have heard stories of their savagery and power, but none of them really, really, understood what Silver Blades where capable of, what they could do while barely trying. This? This was a mere exercise of strength. A warm up round. Those poor creatures of essence and steel before her, they were dead already.

The arrow had been caste, and their lives would only last as long as it took it to reach them.

In a blur of motion, of silver light and power Lera strode forward, Sai held in front of her as the beam broke over her. She did defend as the others do, with patience, and reservation, no, with a smooth cut moonlight met energy in a cascade of light and power, her Sai's blade connected squarely with the blast of force creating a brief flash of light, a small explosion of concussive force as they met, and tested each others mettle. Lera, for her part, was not found wanting, and her pace had not slowed a step as she continued to step through the dust and falling particles of light that remained to show where the beam had failed to phase her.

They danced around her like a pseudo anmia banner, glowing lightly and following in her wake like the trail that follows a falling star, and when she struck, she carried all the force of a burning comet as well. Silver claw flashing like moonlight made real, she pounced upon the machine that had dared to assault Luna's chosen, mauling it from right right shoulder down as she turned her swipe into a long, crescent slash back up up its chest, and finally finishing the blow with another cut that left a perfect circle engraved in its cold metal.

She didn't stop there, she wasn't able to, as she pivoted back on one foot, and leaped into the air in front of it in perfect form of a spinning kick. The world paused for a moment, as those remaining motes of light around her to whirl like a tornado, and an acute observe would notice something as she smoothly whipped around to connect with that  metal creatures chest. For just a second, her eyes connected with its sensors, and she looked straight into that thing that passed for a face, grinning. In that second, she winked. And as soon as that magic moment was over, the kick connected in the dead center of the circle she had cut, ringing out with all the clarity of a stricken bell, as she flipped back, using the kick as a spring board the fly into a perfect backflip and land smoothly on her feet.

Gold jumped into a spin, angling himself with the beams to give them less of a target as he shifted out of harm's way. He dashed forward as soon as he landed, going for the construct Lera wasn't attacking. He slashed at a joint, both in an attempt to topple it and because he didn't want to damage it more than necessary.

You Lot.
The first Guardian takes a hell of a beating, stepping back under the force of the blows it receives. Rovell's strikes at the knees breaks off a couple of bits, but Dragnar's two knives merely deflect off of the constructs' shell. Elzal's twin crystals chip chunks of off the breastplate either side of the giant eye. Then Lera's attack arrives. The great red eye cracks as her whirlwind of blows breaks across it's surface.

As it staggers back, Molten Gold, flowing like his namesake, darts in to cut it's knees in half completely. The great automaton still remains upright, but it's greatly damaged. The massive eye starts to glow, preparing another volley, but it fires haphazardly, blowing great chunks out of the dome.

Meanwhile, an invisible presence seems to grip the other Guardian, halting it's movements, just in time for the fire-spirit to give it a massive thrust to the eye-hole. Colin is soon there to deliver a follow-up punch, and great bellowing crash that knocks the red-jade sphere so that it pokes out of the back of it's body's torso. It goes ballistic, firing randomly, catching more of the dome in the barrage.

Dust fills the area, and the dome starts to crack substantially, and Laia seems to have ran up a collapsed pillar near the door.

As everyone else seemed quite pre-occupied by the relics, Wisdom decided his attention could be better applied elsewhere.

In particular, it could be well applied in shouting a warning if the roof was about to collapse.

He quickly skimmed over the damaged dome, checking where it was damaged and trying to mentally figure out where such a structure would be weakest, and most of all if it was going to come down on top of them in the near future.

Akar.

The black silk man howls to the roof, what looks like black ink floating in the air around him. "Haha haaa! Attack! Attack! Attack!" He raises one arm, pointing his sword at Akar.

The blood apes charge as one, or at least the first four do. They power though Akar's anima banner to bite and rip and tear his guts.

Akar's form flickered like the flame's that covered it, dodging the attacks of the Blood Apes, even as they charged. Together or apart, the Immaculate would not be caught by these pathetic creatures. Their claws scythe through the air, but only the Flames.

"Perhaps you'd like to reconsider your choice?"

Akar's swords struck out in a blaze of motion, Gold Blades, Crimson flames. His smile was wide, red eyes always returning to fellow ontop of the Hut. The Blades struck 6 times, leaving great rents in the creatures, leaving them to live or die as he continued his path. Nothing could stand before him. And he would be at the hut very soon.
