"Heh."If Lera was daunted she did not show it, a half moon grin, spreading from ear to ear enveloped her face as violence broke over her like an ocean wave, washing the area around her, crushing it like sand before a storm. But she stood firm, a rock in the tempest, Lions tooth held in a steady, defensive grip before her, and claws extended, ready to strike. None of them understood yet, not really, they may know a little about full moons, have heard stories of their savagery and power, but none of them really, really, understood what Silver Blades where capable of, what they could do while barely trying. This? This was a mere exercise of strength. A warm up round. Those poor creatures of essence and steel before her, they were dead already.
The arrow had been caste, and their lives would only last as long as it took it to reach them.
In a blur of motion, of silver light and power Lera strode forward, Sai held in front of her as the beam broke over her. She did defend as the others do, with patience, and reservation, no, with a smooth cut moonlight met energy in a cascade of light and power, her Sai's blade connected squarely with the blast of force creating a brief flash of light, a small explosion of concussive force as they met, and tested each others mettle. Lera, for her part, was not found wanting, and her pace had not slowed a step as she continued to step through the dust and falling particles of light that remained to show where the beam had failed to phase her.
They danced around her like a pseudo anmia banner, glowing lightly and following in her wake like the trail that follows a falling star, and when she struck, she carried all the force of a burning comet as well. Silver claw flashing like moonlight made real, she pounced upon the machine that had dared to assault Luna's chosen, mauling it from right right shoulder down as she turned her swipe into a long, crescent slash back up up its chest, and finally finishing the blow with another cut that left a perfect circle engraved in its cold metal.
She didn't stop there, she wasn't able to, as she pivoted back on one foot, and leaped into the air in front of it in perfect form of a spinning kick. The world paused for a moment, as those remaining motes of light around her to whirl like a tornado, and an acute observe would notice something as she smoothly whipped around to connect with that metal creatures chest. For just a second, her eyes connected with its sensors, and she looked straight into that thing that passed for a face, grinning. In that second, she winked. And as soon as that magic moment was over, the kick connected in the dead center of the circle she had cut, ringing out with all the clarity of a stricken bell, as she flipped back, using the kick as a spring board the fly into a perfect backflip and land smoothly on her feet.
