Ask the generous man if he may know how we can carry this fire around with us without burning. Also ask if he needs medical attention.
Also ask how badly his liege is hurt.

Dismember the corpse person.
You don't really think dismembering this corpse man wouldn't help you that much.

Alternatively, speak to the person like a normal person would.
Demand to know what the hell is going on.
Yes, yes we are your liege. Our eminence requires knowledge of what happened here.
"I-I'm not quite sure, a large white streak of light struck the middle of town... That is all I remember."

Put the obvious (not) corpse in your inventory.
You don't quite think he'd be very willing to be forced down your pants. Even if you are his king.

Ask the generous man if he may know how we can carry this fire around with us without burning. Also ask if he needs medical attention.
Also ask how badly his liege is hurt.
"To be honest your highness, you never really were much of a sorcerer."
"What? Me? Do not worry about me, your highness, it seems it is you who is worse for the wear. Let me see... Hummmmmmmmmm..."
He starts mumbling something.

You feel much better. HP +25

I'd like to remind everyone that half of the time I don't even know what I'm talking about. The other half of the time I only sort of know what I'm talking about.

Update to come soon, I'm making a little flow chart that I can show you guys when this finally ends in, like, five years.

Ask who we--
NO. Ask him for assistance in investigation and if he saw some swordsignchucks nearby.
He has no idea what you're talking about.

Show him the sign and ask if he knows such a place.

"Yes, um, this is that place, it's a little... exploded right now."

Then you promptly set the sign on fire.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

RUSH INTO TOWN HEROICALLY, DO IT NAO
This seems like a reasonable course of action my good sirs. Initiate this plan post-haste.

light ourselves on fire too.

That might've been the stupidest idea you've even come up with.
RUSH INTO TOWN HEROICALLY, DO IT NAO
This seems like a reasonable course of action my good sirs. Initiate this plan post-haste.
You rush into the middle of town only to find the entire town is completely destroyed, If there were any survivors, they're dead or gone now. You stumble upon the most intact part of the town, (which isn't saying much) the town square. Replacing what you think was a large fountain, is a large crater with a small swirling vortex in the middle.

You feel yourself being sucked into it.

Oh boy! Here we go!

There's a voice speaking to you, but you can't quite hear it...

Check if you can taste it. We have to know how we're getting this message without hearing.
