Flying pack creatures like vultures or buzzards.  They're hard to kill and have my military running around like fools, and interrupt everybody in view of the surface.  Even cave crocs are not so bad, there's only one of them at a time and they crawl around on the floor where a good axe swing can one-shot them.

stupid zombie goats....like, of all things, it had to be goats....they got too close to my bridge lever, so i couldn't close it, then decided to run amuk inside my fort....they killed off everyone without even attacking, their prescence was enough to starve my dorfs to death

Vultures and buzzards.  You have a nice wall around your fortress and a nice modest mural under construction, then those damn birds swoop in, biting yer masons, and then get torn apart by dogs and fortress guards, spraying blood everywhere.

Now instead of a mural, you have a big red splotch.  Damn things are the reason I have marksmen patrolling the walls year round. (And they still get in)

How could you let such a vile creature become mayor?!? Destroy it at once! It's probably arranging a secret deal with the Goblins, where it will "accidentally" leave the front gate open. Then the Ogres will invade your graveyard and make it their own personal clubhouse.
