Still playing the old version (waiting until a not so buggy new one launches) and have the tame jaguar out of the cage and a dwarf with animal training at the kennel, but he wont train it.

The wiki says that the Jaguar doesn't need Dungeon Master, so what gives?

You have to edit the their raw files to make them trainable war beasts. Its not that hard of an edit and doesn't require a regen.
