I don't know if this happens a lot due to random world generation, but the religion of the biggest human empire in my region actually encourages pedophilia. Seriously, a priest told me, after joining the religion, to "seek the mysteries of children" and to "simply experience children". A kid of seven told me I should wake up in the morning with children. Are religions in Dwarf Fortress usually this screwed up?

Toady should make some additional cults, schizas and types of religion (Just give yourself to/Offer blood to/Crawl under feet of <religious object>). Perhaps people bragging about religion (Just imagine it: Urist McPriest: I had experienced the children and now I seek to provide my brethen with truth), talking about finding meaning of life(Urist McPriest: You need to know children better, Urist, only then shall you wake up your soul), and perhaps people, who doubt (Urist McDoubter: I don't understand the way of <god>, children... I don't like them).
I need to make my big list of suggestions for DF and post it/mail to toady. It will include this. Perhaps people selling/buying object of religion (Urist McPriest: Ah, customer, come closer and look at my fine wares:

I honestly would think that's about having children, not sleeping with them. A religion of fertility, one that encourages making children, is okay in my book.

Also, phrasing is different - it's not "You should wake up in the morning with children", it's "When you wake up in the morning, consider children", and it doesn't bring pedophilia to mind, not in the slightest.
