can you use gysum blocks to make plaster ?
« on: August 15, 2010, 12:48:56 pm »

For some reason it is not letting me, telling me that I don't have fuel or raw materials. I have 2 gypsum blocks and lots of charcoal.

On the left a cannon which shoots dwarf children into the sun, on the right, a massive pit full of magma charred dwarfs and elves.

gypsum blocks are very different from raw gypsum.
they are only useful as building material.

Nope - they have to be rough mined stones.

It's the same as with blocks of ore or flux - they're only usable as building materials.

P.S. If you don't get this note, let me know and I'll write you another.
It's amazing how dwarves can make a stack of bones completely waterproof and magmaproof.
It's amazing how they can make an entire floodgate out of the bones of 2 cats.
