Here.

As you may see, the Swiss Midlands are covered by gentle, sloping hills, the occasional less gently sloping hill, rivers, some forests and many, many towns.

Right here, at the moment.

The photos from Manali are awesome, I envy you. This was what inspired me to create this thread in the first place.  ;)

So uh, how do we get link the place? I enter the name of the city, but the address stays the same. What am I missing?

You don't copy&paste the URL in the browser. Instead, there is a Link command in the upper right corner of Google Maps. Click and see.
Hey, my sister lives in Scotland. I am not so fortunate.

I live here:

Dude, I think you've just reposted my embark. Unless you live next door, of course.  ::)

Wow, I am a dumbass. Thank you for pointing that out.

How about here: instead?

I live in a warm temperate forest biome near the capital of the American Empire but most of the forests have been replaced by roads and ugly square brick aboveground human settlements.

There is also a small wizard settlement nearby.

Can't see it from the road, but this is where I am.

Also, good to the forums are back to being less populated with EL's since the release.

Escaped Lunatic - People new to the forum. When the game was released, it had a huge impact and made several news sites which led the newly Escaped Lunatics over to the forums with the loud cries of, "How do I not die instantly? I thought this was a GAME!" and my personal favorite, "Where are the graphics?"
