Any guesses as to why my dwarves just raided all the cloth from the elves in the depot and overfilled the chests in the hospital with it?  I didn't tell them to do it and I haven't traded with the elves yet.

This may be a known bug. I can't remember if what I'm thinking of was this.

i had a hermit fortress a while ago and the starving dwarves outside would steal food from the caravans when they arrived.  This may be related somehow.

Dwarves will grab supplies to fill the hospital even if those supplies don't belong to you.  It's a known bug.

Its a combination of that bug, and another were dwarfs ignore limits on how much to put in a hospital.  That, or they're just as tired of the elves bringing too much cloth as we are.

Its a bug and I loved watching 30 of my dwarfs dash out to rip of the elves.
