Steam Cannons!

Lava + Water = Steam.
Steam + Container = Pressure.
Highly pressurized steam = Fun!
Mix in cannonballs for better results.

Yes, so, Squid and I were thinking that a new seige weapon could be made, which takes a channel of water (or a bucket?), and a channel of magma from each side, creates pressurized steam, and fires the salding hot water, and, if desired, a cannonball/rock. It'd probably be made from 4 cannon parts (2 steel each), and look something like (Where the two |'s are lava and water imputs, the ! is where the dwarf operating would stand, and the ='s is the cannon itself):

Naturally, damage would be inversely proportional to range, and would take a small amount of time to reload (the "cork" that stores the lava/water mixture until the pressure becomes too great would have to be re-stuck).

Cannonballs would be trailed by steam, and the cannonball itself would be incredibly hot at that point, so it would definetly do massive damage, and, if possible, splash damage.
