Melody of the world. Turn 12: B-B-B-Boss.
« on: August 13, 2010, 12:15:44 pm »

(Will be taking 5-8 people.)
(First RTD, tell me what you think.  :-\)

The world is in peril. Everything has gone wrong. While trying to play a magical song, the world's greatest musician accidently wiped out sound itself. Now no one can make sound, let alone music. No one, except for a band of musicians. For some reason, their sound remains intact. They feel the need to try to bring music back into the world.

Every member of the group knows only three songs they can play on their insturments, but hope they will learn more. These songs each have magical qualities, being able to do things such as throwing fireballs or turning invisible.

Another problem is that while the world is in this state, darkness has been rising. Horrible creatures are all over, doing whatever to spread chaos. Since they might get in the way, the bards have decided they might as well kill them.

So now the musicians must travel from town to town, playing music to bring sound back to world, as well as bashing each other on the heads with their insturments.

Everyone will start in a small, dull town. To bring sound back, they must find a crystal of sound, and play the song of sound.(everyone will have it as one of their three songs.)

You should probably just un-link it with the names, as well as saying what it does.

I dunno, you guys have survived Thomas the tank engine, golems, zombies, nuclear explosions, laser whales, and being on the same team as ragnarock.  I don't think something as tame as a world ending rain of lava will even slow you guys down.

Turn 0: A band of five dudes.

As you five enter town, you notice a few strange things. The whole left side of the village is around 20 houses. The other side looks like a big castle. In the very center is a windmill, with farm plots all around it. As far as you can see, the town is deserted besides a few wild animals. Then looking again you notice there are a few people in the windmill, and at least two of the houses have a person in them. Just then it starts to rain, and the dark clouds in the sky show signs of a storm. Of course, only lightning. Thunder basicly doesn't exist right now.

As a girl from the windmill notices you, she waves. Looking at her eyes it looks like she's barely slept for a few days. She then opens her mouth like she's going to say something, but then shuts it and starts to look like she's going to cry.

Comfort human girl. Attempt to communicate through writing.

Bloody Stephinians, always interfering in mah RTD games.

LS 000-001's favorite hobby is participating in crossovers and fanfics. The Stephinians often act as a sort of an annoying grandparent to other sentient races, meddling in their affairs because they've gotten bored with their own problems. Everyone lets them because they have the biggest guns.

I'd like on the waiting list
Name:Khan
Insturment:Bongo's
BG:A strange man, who always moves to an internal beat causing his moves to be somewhat predictable and the rate at which he talks varies with how much energy he has, and has he gets tired he slows to a crawl, yet even when he sleeps his hands twitch to the rhythm of the world around him.
Song 1(offensive):Beat of breaking:His tempo speeds significantly shaking the world around him, breaking apart the earth and anything else that's to close to him (3-4 feet), yet his internal beat matches perfectly, leaving him unharmed in a whirlwind of destruction.
song 2(misc.):Overtime:directly affects Khan, speeding his heart beat and movements to an unhuman level (+ bonus to physical attacks/movements.)
Book or horse:(book gives +1 to song rolls. Horse +1 to movement rolls.)Book
