Build an execution tower 7z tall, with only up/down stairs, and at the top, build an 8x4 drawbridge facing the mountain. Build the cages on it, and let it fly.

Around the words are various pictures of varying quality and words beneath them: asmrar, gugol, smad, onu, balu and utes. this last one has asmba utu! below it

There! I think that should do. oh well. It's enough for me. I can't imagine what the boss was getting so worked up about yesterday though. he seemed to think that enough of them would get past the traps to be a danger. they had BOWS! they couldn't be less dangerous inside if they tried.

translation:
The traps worked! Our faction now has some humans to play with. YAY! Shame that my goblin friends haven't yet paid us a visit, they could supply us with torture tools... I'm sure I sent a memo.

Field Reports of Tannen Rimtarazin, Trusted Lieutenant
1st Timber, 303

The smugglers didn't bother to hide their surprise at finding that we had something useful for them to bring back. Bastards.

I'm not going to waste my time explaining to them how we saved their lives from the humans, the other minions can pass on the story. All I am interested in is handing over supplies for the rebellion, and this time we've got exactly what the Overlord will need: twenty sets of superb bronze armour, crossbows, axes, tens of thousands of silver coins... Our produce is going to do a lot of damage in the mountainhomes in all the right places. That's immensely satisfying.

As for the humans? Well, their fate was immensely satisfying as well. With no true prison available, they have been kept under constant guard in the floor chamber of the reptile house.

84. I will not have captives of one sex guarded by members of the opposite sex.

I am uncertain whether rule 84 should have applied there. This is the problem with the strange wording of these orders: they do not make the intent clear. Is this rule simply to avoid the potential security hazards of relations with the prisoners? I don't know! I have had to assume that none of the soldiers are deranged enough to be attracted to those gangly, beardless, elf-like captives... but how can I be sure? How can I be sure there isn't a completely different reason for the order? The uncertainty was uncomfortable, which made it all the more fun when the next stage of work on the reptile house was completed.

I must admit that the work so far has exceeded all my expectations. It has everything an alligator could possibly want - a fine, sun catching window, sand, a pool, rocks, and of course, underfloor heating...

One magma pipe installed, two irritating problems solved.

You need a Towercap farm. That way you can convert mostly worthless iron into nice steel. Then you can me dimple cup farm so you can begin work on my uniforms.

I haven't found flux, and given that the volcano is quite definitely an igneous area, I don't think I will find any soon. Steel is a bit tricky.

Dairy of Gutanoth
Second page

I guess I may as well practice my dwarven on this makeshift book I've got.

I can't believe what he did. Not only was I not allowed to play with our captives, he didn't even let me guard them.
Because of that list of his.
Damn is it annoying. What would make me suddenly betray him because of some tall freak without purple hair a beard
Some of the rules make sense, but to fail those ones requires you not to have any subtlety whatsoever. or common sense.

I should really get back to duty... oh well.

Don't you have any marble? If you can't get any though normal mean, try and get the smugglers to bring some.

Edit: you beat me to it

Journal of Ireheart:

I finally got the idea in my head of what to do, along with some help from my fellow minions.

I also propose a special all-female espionage unit with just this uniform:
Dyed Red Cave Spider Silk Toga
Dyed Red Cave Spider Silk Thong
Leather Skirt (Short)

Oh, and a crossbow. I wonder how that could've sliped....

First, this: I approve of. Make sure there's shoe's though. Dont want the babes to catch a cold.

In all seriousness, I still remain to the fact that our uniform should be colored to oppose the purple of the royal family. That is; gold. If one says gold is a show of wealth and nobility: fine then, but the nobles chose purple to be their "regal" color and we should only oppose that which our enemies approve of. Showing wealth isn't necessarily bad anyway.

So I prepose:

Head:A plexiglass visor (helmet), due to its requirement on the list
Anything other than this might prevent sight (a hood, for example) and should thus be avoided. Our covert ops only should wear face-concealing items, and I will cover this later.

Torso: A steel chainmail shirt, with a steel breastplate over it. Perhaps a simple pigtail shirt under it dyed yellow or red.
The shirt is definitely for show, as it isn't required. It will provide a small amount of comfort under all the armor, but still, not a strict requirement.

Hands: Cloth or leather gloves, covered by steel gauntlets.
Let me make this clear: strong metal on skin hurts. Putting cloth or leather under it would prevent this from being a problem

Legs: Leather or cloth pants, followed by steel greaves. Same point as above.

Feet: Socks, leather shoes, steel high boots. Not above the knee however, as that would impede movement.

All dye-able clothes should either be dyed red or yellow. Red we all like, yellow because it is opposing to the royal family.

Those who disagree with me will be very thankful when they are in combat and the bare metal doesn't cut their skin more than their enemy does. "

Um... Dude? Yellow isn't in the game. Red will be fucking hard to get. And the way I set up the standard uniform, you get maximum protection without wearing 3 of the same thing.

we're not saying that the metal wouldn't hurt, it's just due to game mechanics, you can't have gloves and gauntlets at the same time.

and maybe a red silk dress would work better than the toga for the sassy spy squad.

Personal Journal of Alteffeight, Loyal Minion
4th Timber, 303

The spirits have left me. Deserted me. Left me with only a somehow massive door cut from a particularly large piece of yellow zircon we had unearthed. While I live only to serve The Overlord, the gift the spirits gave me produced what seems to be a completely useless item. I wish to curse the spirits' sense of humor, but I know how important they appear to be to the leaders here; and so to The Overlord as well. I was able to quietly peruse the list of Rules that The Overlord has provided, and can find no specific use for a yellow door; even one of such presence. I fear for my safety here now if my gifted talents can only produce such inane items. Rings? What purpose could these possibly serve? You can't even chain a few of the new prisoners to them, since it's a blasted door! My pride is overwhelmed by my sense of failure. I shall carry on with my duties and attempt to keep a low profile. Perhaps I can avoid embarrassing The Overlord yet again.

Not quite. A toga only covers half of the upper chest. Therefore, More effective.

:-\ ... well, As much of a point as you have, and I don't know about other dwarfs , Gutanoth would never be seen dead using that as a form of gaining intelligence. She's more, get them into a lonely room and beat the living daylights out of them until they stop twitching. Then wait until they wake up before torturing them.

(ignore the above if you don't mean what I thought you meant)

Well, this is an spy unit, not an interrogation team. Spies tend not to be in the best of positions to lock every one in a room and beat the shit out of him. :-\ So I picked the next best way.
