Hi, I am from Asia, been playing DF since 1 year ago with the 40d version when I was 12, I used Mayday's tileset.
Was introduced to this game by an internet friend when he I played Dungeon Master on BYOND. ( Just so you know its open source now ;) )
I was somewhat scared by the graphics at first, but that did not stop me from checking out the wiki and find the awesome graphic set by Mayday. ( Thanks Mayday for getting me into this game! )
I grasped the concept pretty quickly, thanks the captnduck's vid tutorials and the hilarious wiki.
However, after a week of playing like a maniac, I decided to take a break.

A week ago, I decided to download DF2010 0.31.12, after using a graphics set, I eventually settled for ASCII, as it looked better for a strange reason.

Just wanted to visit the forums because I don't have any friends who play this game, I guess the graphics looked crappy to them.

Just wanted to introduce myself here, as I can't find a place where I can put my introduction, if this is in the wrong forum, sorry and I apologize, please move it to the right place :).

Also I think I'm too young to play this game, most boys of my age play FPS games
