I still maintain Aarne Juutilainen was more badass. It's easy to express bravado if you are Patton with the US behind you. Much harder to express that your line will hold against the entire red army unless you are ordered by your higher ups to run, knowing that every resource your entire nation has is already occupied elsewhere.

Can you link his phrases/quotes/etc.? I also never professed that Patton was a badass, just that he definitely has eloquence of testosterone. He was a racist elitist bastard, a racist elitist bastard that the Germans feared enough to keep soldiers stationed west of Normandy because they 'knew' he was training soldiers in an attempt for an amphibious invasion there. An invasion that never came because it was a diversionary op, obviously. Oh, yeah, he also told Eisenhower to personally fuck off because he wanted to hand Germany to the Russians because it would hurt us later on. Which it did.

That said I don't know how truly badass he was singularly, but he was a brilliant tactician, though he would perhaps have been best suited in ages past.
