Everyone that asked for one has a dog. We've got a mason/mechanic/architect, a farmer/brewer, a miner, and a warrior. We need 2 more people to join up.

I'll take Urdim. Give her 5 points in weapon smith and 5 in armor smith.
the rest will go to buy steel bars, or other metal bars if steel runs out.

In the interests of moving this along, the last dwarf will be a doctor/cook.

Jack

Well...we've arrived. Not a bad place as embarks go; I've certainly seen worse. My companions seem stable as well, with the exception of Mekboy; he's been huddled over a pile of gears ever since we set out from the mountainhome. He also brought a whole mess of animals and exotic foods. I honestly have no idea what he's planning.

Well, first things first. We're going to need a defensible entrance area, as well as some basic storehouses. I direct Haldor to start carving out some tunnels, while I start carving beds from the wood we brought along. I'm going to need an axe; the supplies we brought aren't going to last.

Tasha also grabbed a pick; as a trained solider, she seems to be eager to get underground as fast as possible.

---------------------------------
Gah, i hate that i cant press space to quit out of menus anymore. Map of the embark is here: http://mkv25.net/dfma/map-9374-boltcut

AAH. NONVARIED GROUND.

Okay, so I'll take an immigrant axedwarf, nickname Urist the Blue, profession Bladed Bloodbath.

I must say that I like the site and that it will be nice and challenging to get useful, deadly metals. I take it much goblinite will be smelted?

I'll take an immigrant.

Nickname of 'Derm' With a profession of 'Multitasker'

His skill set will be EVERYTHING except woodcutting and fishing. Just turn the proffs on.

Periodic military episodes are also required.

I'll take an immigrant dwarf.

Ireheart Axebane.

He's a military dwarf.

Stubborn, idealistic, and naive. This dwarf is overconfident in his abilities and believes strongly in truth, peace, and love. He is quick to anger, and has an iron will.

He prefers an axe.
