I takes a turn to put it on. It takes a turn to exchange any piece of equipment onto a ship. The only standard parts on ships are the USEC docking rings. Other than that, every company has their own standards. It'll take time to attact the equipment.

Umm...why are my ships heading to the station this turn? They shouldn't be there until turn 10 when their new ships come in.

Look at the title/subject of the thread. (And the ships come in on turn 11.)

If I can ever talk the bastard into coming to this sector I'll consider it.

So typical of mining's captain: first one to open their mouth, first one to use it to find an excuse... Seems like your captain won't be there to fight the pirate menace. I suggest you use proffesionnal (Give his business card).

Your ships haven't arrived yet. However, should the pirates kick the companies' collective asses, a special ship will be sent to drop off your ships. Else, wait for turn 21.

More like he doesn't go anywhere without a large enough pay advancement first. It takes a lot of money to move a ship that big across sectors. ((in other words, gotta buy the damn thing))

"Protector" Mk II: $305 000
Armour: 18
Equipment slots: 2
SMALL: (+5% to dodge)
BUILT-IN EQUIPMENT: (Comes with a free minigun turret, small missile bay (Arrow) and two machinegun turrets)
Description: The "Protector Mk II is a small, lightly armoured ship with several built-in weapons, decreasing the overall cost of the ship, while increasing the amount of room available. It is not the best ship for combat, but it can deal with minor threats, such as modified civilain vehicles, and are amoung the first dedicated combat ships in a colony.

I have absolutely no idea what's going on in this fort any more. Migrants arrive, they die for some reason, the fort is flooded for another reason, then dwarves go mad, more dwarves die and I'm just laughing in my distress.
