Well, i`ll just  point out that some guards have been killed IIRC. So he could still reanimate those.

Son of Odin they can serve us in death. They lived as traitors and now they shall die and serve as traitors. I will kill and reanimate them and then they can prove their worth to the gods and repent for their so easily changeabale loyality.

His behavior or the powers? I'm pretty sure I could think of a ton of things to go wrong with necromancry. Not sure how to balance that out yet though.

Turn 51: Norse Politics

@LordInquisitor: I wasn't even up yet, you posted when it was 5:26 AM local time for me.

Not a great turn this time as people mostly got low rolls. Also, wolfchild hasn't been on for several days, which isn't usual for him, so I'm putting him on AI until further notice.

Oh yea, there aren't any actual effects from the 'political debate' Jorn and Arngrim had, unless you choose to make one.

Sweet, free loot! Thanks, Drex!

Hear Drex's death screams, return and take the bag with the money. Then find Arngrim and his friends.
[2]You hear Drex's death screams but can't find the location ((you can try again)), [4]so you just go and find Anrgim and his posse. When you arrive, you see a small crowd near two tied up prisioners and Arngrim is talking to them. Because you are still invisible, they don't notice you yet.

Oh... erm... Huh.

Massive Peace spell over the entire town.

I probably should have done this last turn...
[3]You do a massive peace spell over the entire town, however, either because of the area involved or spell strengh, it calms down all but the most fired up.

BURN THE BASTARDS!

((Torc is angry if you can't tell...))
[2+2][luck:2] You unleash an average sized fire cone, but it gets so thinned out that it doesn't even reach the soldiers. The soldiers just look at you, wondering if you're actually going to attack or mess around.

Now, now, it seemest like thou art not as wicked as i thought. And your comrade seems reasonable, too. I decide to show mercy. I wanted to sacrifice one of you to Odin, my father, but i see that it would be in his, and mine, interest to show mercy. Instead i will sacrifice the tyrant- But you`ll have to help me. I reckon that the mindless violence isn`t appropiate. It is time to stop that madness."

Free the two guards and try to calm that village down again.
[1][luck:6]You tell your posse to release the guards and for some reason they don't respond, so you yell at them again, this time they respond and release the two captives.

Suddenly one of the Ex-Prisoners who have brought in the two officers speak up. He seems literally half dead

You really want to let them live? Those traitors? I am a son of Hél and i can smell their lies from a thousand feet. Let me join you Son of Odin. They have commited atrocities beyond imagine on us.

The prisoner spit in the direction of one of the officers

Let us slaughter them all...no one lving in this town and no one of that garrison deserves mercy...

Execute the two guys if Lordinquisitor allows it...then revive them and the corpses of all the guards. THEY SHALL SERVE ME FOR WHAT THEY HAVE DONE TO ME! although i still dont know what...
No, i don`t want them killed.. Anymore. But it could be a motivation to keep them loyal. ;)

"Thou arst a son of Hel? Be greeted, noble brother in belief. It is true that they angered us and deserve punishment- But their punishment shall be to help us. It seemest that they are just as oppressed as we were. They will help us to find and kill the one who deserves it the most.

Son of Odin they can serve us in death. They lived as traitors and now they shall die and serve as traitors. I will kill and reanimate them and then they can prove their worth to the gods and repent for their so easily changeabale loyality.

Defend my opinion...verbally...
[6]You grab a box out of nowhere, stand on it and verbally defend your opinion with deep speeches and politicial maneuvers.

Defend my opinion verbally.
[1]You also grab a box out of nowhere and stand on it, however you have trouble even getting out what you want to say, if this were a real political debate, you would lose.

Quote from: wolfchild
AI

Turn into a monkey and climb a building
[1]You attempt to shapeshift into a monkey and completely fail at it, so you just try climbing [2]but can't get more than a few feet up it before falling off.

Why all the killing? Can't we just get along? It's not like we're all psychopathic hobos or something.

Even larger peace spell.

Still Disagree with Jôrn. Cast a runic protection spell on those two guards that protects them against necromancy.

why the killing? For one simple reason: we cant trust them. They are traitors and they have worked a long time for the dictator. IF we kill and then revive them via necromancy they will have no choice than to follow our orders...thus we prevent being backstabbed...and anyway icly my character hungers for the blood of his wardens...

All you're doing here is reapplying the spell, it effectively worked 100% last turn, I just made it not quite work on the most hyped up, most radical, basically the craziest, people because it rolled a 3.

Okay then....

I wonder what kind of effects a peace spell roll of 6 would have on people who are already bieng non-violent. :) Of course, if you roll a 1, it would act like an anarchy spell, reversing what you did this turn.

Collect Drex's corpse and flee the area with Bitsy.
