Turn 47: Jail Deja vu

Alot of bad luck hit almost everybody, which ended up playing into my hands  ;D

Quote from: Lieutenant Jaranz
Speak to squad members in meeting
Lieutenant Jaranz: "All right, spies report that the targets are separated from one another, so now is the best time to take action, remember, apprehend them WITHOUT force if possible, I repeat, only use force if its required. Any questions?"
Squad leader 1:"What about charges? Not all of them have actually theoretically commited a crime"
Lieutenant Jaranz:"Don't give me the philosophical crap. Make it up if you have to. Questions? No? Good, DISMISEED!"

Attempt to find worshippers of the greek gods/greek demigods and befriend them
[5]You manage to find a small shrine to Artemis and approach the people nearby and converse with them.

Quote from: soldiers
Approach
Moments later, four soldiers enter the shrine area and approach Alethe. One of them gets Alethes attention and speaks to her "You are under arrest for suspicion of spying, come with us quietly and you will not be harmed." The other four soldiers look ready to tackle Alethe if she resists.

Wear the necklace, then exit the temple. Shift out of avatar state and try to figure where the hell my friends went.

[1]You utterly fail to wear the necklace and instead put it in your belt. [3]You manage to exit the temple though and once outside, shift out of Avatar state. [4]You vaguely remember something about a road heading north and so, you fly north.

Help Drex locate a stylish hat
[2]You don't even help him in any way at all.

Search for a hat store.
[1]OH HORRIBLE! THERE APPEARS TO BE NO HAT STORES!

Quote from: soldiers
Approach
Moments later, eight soldiers approach Torc and Drex, one of the soldiers who looks like he has some blood of Hercules in him confronts the two. "You are both under arrest for suspicion of theft, come with us quietly and I won't have to break your legs."

Try to make more money through fortune telling. Regardless whether it works or not i then go into the tavern and drink some mead and then i buy more of it for the travel ahead. Also look for work or interesting persons in the tavern.
[2]You try to make some more money through fortunetelling and can't. [6][luck:1]So, you go to the tavern and drink your heart out, and soon pass out drunk.

Quote from: soldiers
Approach
Unknown to you, you were followed by four soldiers who decided to wait and see what happens as you were heading into the tavern. They waited until you had passed out drunk to arrest you for illegal peddling and carted you off to the local jail.

Change into a shape that can take off veritcaly, then undo the buckles of the guards weapon belts telekineticly

This is going better than id hoped
[3] You try to meld your legs to jump higher, but before you can escape, [4][1]the guards pounce on you. Despite your struggles, you are quickly subdued and sent to the slammer.

Currently in the local jail:
Tharin
Arngrim (passed out drunk)

Changing my face didn't help me a bit, bah.

Attempt to mind control the soldiers to forget about me, then run away and go invisible

That was because of plot. :) And trust me, I know what I'm doing and I have it planned out.

Plot? You think the players will bend to the will of PLOT?! Clearly you have never read Darths and Droids.

...Also, I reccomend everyone take the suicidal action of "Fight back against the superior forces". This has nothing to do with me being on the waiting list...

Lol!

At least I got two people in so I can at least partially do it. Otherwise it's gonna be fun. :)

Even so, the RNG can ultimately break the plot of it decides to give everybody awesome rolls and the enemies bad rolls.

OK THATS IT!, Tharin is officialy pissed off, he/she/it changes into a giant Python and leaves the cell, any guards will be met by a sound crushing, once keys have been aquired release ALL my fellow prisoners, not just my companions

edit: adding to action
and arm them to the teeth from what the guards should be using

You really can both sig it.
But... That would break the laws of sigging! We can't have everyone running around with the same quotes. IT MAKES THEM UNFUNNY FASTER!

I hope you aren`t too attached to the jail. Or the town. Or the country, smjjames. Because i will burn it down and erase it from memory. I will burn the fields. I will tear the buildings down and will scatter the bricks around the world. I will kill everyone by drowning him in his own blood. I will kill every cow, bird or other animal that ever entered the country. I will salt the fields. I will Hunt down those living somewhere else who know about the town and i will silence them. I will also kill anyone who is, even remotely, akin to someone living in the village. I will burn every letter, map, or other thing that mentions the town and i will blind, deafen, maim and mute everybody who ever looked at such a letter or map. I will kill anyone speaking a language that was spoken in that town. I will destroy every kind of plant that grew within the borders of that country.
I will bury the ruins of the city in dirt, earth and stone until there is no sign that there was once a village. Then i will plant a forest above it. Then i will tear open the very earth itself and i`ll throw the whole country into the fiery maw of hell.
Then i will go to hell, too, to do all these steps again.. In Hell. I will obliterate hell, too, and will fill the open entrance to hell with water, forming a lake.

In the end i will have obliterated the city such throughout that even All Knowing Odin won`t remember it.

Wake up, wonder why the guards did not take my weapons away, and try to leave my cell. If possible draw my sword, enter a battle trance and kill those soldiers. If possible i try to "just" wound some or knock them unconscious.. And those i hang from trees with my ropes.

I kind of revealed too much anyway. I think I've certainly learned my lession now.

Also, I'm LOLng over all this. :)

Edit: Oh yea, Tharin ending up in jail wasn't actually part of my old plot, but heck with it now.

Get a sneaking suspicion that I shouldn't be flying, and start walking instead. Pretend to be a merchant, and show no trace of any power I may have.

Going to start rolls soonish. Also, don't blame me if you guys get bad rolls, I've decided to abamdon the plot I attempted to pull on you. I just wasn't subtle enough I guess or went around doing it the wrong way. I'm sure you guys have had stuff like this happen when you GM'ed an RTD for the first time.

The previous turn where Drex went "OH HORRIBLE!", I was just playing along with the fact that he kept getting a bad rolls when searching for a hat. I'm sure there are places in town to buy hats.

No problem. You are doing quite well and i`m having fun!
I just think you gave us too much information with the Point of view of the commander.

I was trying to do more roleplaying in it and was actually trying to set up a turning point. However, I didn't want to hijack everybodys character and force them into where I wanted the plot to go (which is bad ettiquette when roleplaying and you don't have someones permission.) I know the GM can pull some godmoding, but doing a massive one could be considered out of bounds. I did think of instahealing the group if I was trying a new combat system and it was going horribly, but that was more like an emergency reset button. At least early on before anybody had healing abilities and that was while I was trying to figure out what to do with the combat system.
