Turn 42: Travel Sequence

For everybody that is mounted on Bitsy, technically the cephalothorax and abdomen would be rounded, but I'm ignoring that for everybody's sake. Plus Bitsy isn't really a spider anyway, just an earth elemental in the shape of one.

Serve as scout for the group
[6]You fly off and scout the road ahead from several hundred feet in the air You end up going far enough that you can see Drex in the distance from the air. The forest stretches to the horizon to the east, west and south, there are a few mountains on the horizon. To the north, the forest thins out into sparse woodland. There is nothing that you would recognize as possible dangers.

I have a feeling that waking up is the last thing I want to do right now, so...

Dream.

Dream about my life, and the lives of my companions. Dream about the world, and the events going on in it. Dream about good and evil, and the perpetual struggle. Search for answers, and hope that when I awake, I will have a better understanding of the universe.

[5]You slip into a dream state and dream what you know about your life, your companions, the world, good and evil and the perpetual struggle. You begin to search for answers to the universe. While the universe is too vast to be understood in a single dream, you do philosophize about the origins of life, the origins of the gods, etc. When you realize you're in control of your dream, you search for answers of your surroundings. What you see is a circular chamber that is dimly lit except for lights shining on the statues. There are 7 statues of Set, all of them are holding a bow and arrow, drawn as if primed to shoot. They are all aiming towards the center of the room. You come to the grim realization that you have fallen into a booby trap set for thieves. Also, the chute that you fell through is closed, so you can't fly back out that way.

[2]Meanwhile, your body is producing natural painkillers (adrenaline mostly), but the pain hasn't dulled much yet.

"Hey alethe; I`ve got a rope here. If you want i could toss it to you.."

If alethe accepts, is toss the rope and try to help her mount the spider. If not (or if i have still enough time afterwards.) i try to invoke some godly wisdom to get some information about the surroundings.
[6]You toss her amost all of the liana-rope and help her abord the E.E.S. Bitsy. Deciding that you still have time, you invoke some godly widsom and get some information about the surroundings. Besides what Tharin already sees from the air, you see various animals in the jungle, none of them are any threat at this time.

Well, fine. Helped by Arngrim, climb aboard Bitsy, then slip into a trance and heal myself.

I foresee both of us getting 1's, resulting in a failure of truly epic proportions.
[4]With help from Arngrim, you near-epically climb abord Bitsy even though he tossed you most of the length he had. Then you go into a trance to heal your leg. While you manage to get the bone set, you only managed to partially heal some of the fractures. It's a start considering how badly broken your leg is.

Continue.
[5] You travel north a turn and can now see the town in the distance. You will arrive there next turn.

Quote from: MagusBlack
AI mode
continue onwards
[4]You have bitsy travel northwards. [Travellers luck ((and to shorten the travel sequence)):6] Torc urges Bitsy onwards and she ((technically genderless)) picks up speed to faster than a horse can run. Combined with the fact that as an earth elemental, Bitsy never tires, everybody including Bitsy advance the travel by two turns instead of one.

It was his choice and the RNG chose to activate the booby trap. There IS a door somewhere since someone has to go and maintain it and clean it out once in a while, although nobody has been in there for centuries. He just hasn't found a way out yet. Depending on his actions, it is possible to get out alive. If I REALLY wanted him dead, he would have already triggered the secondary booby trap.

They are statues with mechanisms in them that enable them to fire the arrow and that is all they can do.

Continue traveling with the group, if a flock of birds that would not be frightened off by my current form presents it'self, try to befriend them

You really can both sig it.
But... That would break the laws of sigging! We can't have everyone running around with the same quotes. IT MAKES THEM UNFUNNY FASTER!

Transform into Avatar of Storms state and use my powers to escape the chamber.

You're still unconscious, but on the off chance that you get a good roll to regain consciousness, I'll accept that.

Edit: You got an overshoot, so you get to go super saiyan :P

Turn 43: RNG/Neberhar goes Super Saiyan and tries to be a ninja at the same time

Every GM acts a little bit evil sometimes, right?.....

PAWN SHOP AHOY!
[6][6]You gallop straight into town and after a few minutes of searching, find the pawn shop and enter. The pawn shop owner gives you a suspicious look as you set down the pile of loot on the table "I have a feeling that I shouldn't ask where you got the load from. "He leans close to you " but I'll require a... payment... of the total gold... for bribes you know." Not willing to take any shit from this guy, you raise your fist and make it burst into flame "How is this for a bribe!". Suddendly the pawnshop owner backs off, clearly scared "Okay, Okay! Just tell me what you wish to do with the..ah...hoard."

Continue healing attempts
[4]You manage to finish healing your broken leg.

Simply travel on, try to guide bitsy to the mountains if no one else does.
[4][2]You travel onwards, but fail to guide Bitsy to the mountains. She's under Torcs command, remember?

Continue traveling with the group, if a flock of birds that would not be frightened off by my current form presents it'self, try to befriend them
[3]You pretty much keep up with the group. There aren't any flocks of birds that aren't afraid of you or uninterested in you though.

Help Alethe with healing fire.
[3]Alethe already finished healing up, so you just concentrate on 'driving' Bitsy. The group makes pretty good time and are now about a turn from town.

Transform into Avatar of Storms state and use my powers to escape the chamber.
[Regain consciousness:1]Due to massive blood loss, you slip even deeper into unconsciousness, somewhere in the realm between deep sleep and death.

[6]Using the last shreds of consciousness and lucid dreaming, you shove yourself into Avatar of Storms state. Doing so rescues you from imminent death, the bleeding has slowed to a trickle. Meanwhile, the shift has woken you up from unconsciousness and you are currently lying on the floor. Your leg however is still broken and is radiating pain even though it has dulled enough to not knock you unconscious.

Just as you wake up, you realize that you've just created a wave of energy that could trigger the statues, so you quickly prepare yourself to dodge like a ninja.

As a result of the shockwave, statues 1 through 5 activate (rolls 1-3 results in non-activation).

[Statue1 aimshoot:6][Statue2 aimshoot:6][Statue3 aimshoot:6][Statue4 aimshoot:4][Statue5 aimshoot:4]
[Dodge: 4 4 1 2 1][BP check: 5 6 6][Damage:3+1(+1 from overshoot) 2 5+1]

Moving fast, you manage to dodge the first two arrows as they fly within inches of you and slam into the statue opposite the one that fired said arrow, but your luck immediately runs out with the next three. In the proccess of dodging the second arrow, the third one slams into your left arm and tears deep into your upper arm. Meanwhile, the remaining two arrows that are in flight go right for your right leg. One of them just scratches the leg while the next one slams right into your femur, breaking it, causing pain and you to lose the ability to stand.
