Turn 34: Godly Inspiration Strikes! AKA Torc gets a fey mood (no shell involved)
I think this is the first time Torc rolled two sixes for the crafting roll (normal plus luck). So, I decided to treat that one as a mega-overshoot where it goes right into the territory of a fey mood.
MOVE!
[6]The spidery Earth Elemental suddendly lurches forward and marches towards the Temple of Set. Passing the obelisks, it is right outside the main entrance.
on the road again, on the road again, i'm back... on the road again.
[3][luck:6] You wander aimlessly for a while in more or less a straight line before finding a road, or at least what passes for a road around here. With your luck increasing, you also find a road sign that points in two directions, one part says the town is approx 4 turns in that direction and the other direction is approx 5 turns ((Yes I rolled on those, seriously....)). You're at a crossroads here, either try to go for one of the two directions or attempt to find a shortcut.
Go down; But make sure that i won`t be separated from Nebehar. (Provided he goes down, too.) Stay alert and throw my javelin at anything that feels like attacking me. (Except if throwing it would be stupid. Like, if it is a little fly or something made from rock or harder.)
[3][luck:2]You venture further down into the large room, at least theres nothing living or undead to attack you here. However, you don't notice anything new as you're having a hard time seeing in the dim light.
Repeat last action...
[6][luck:6]As you begin trying to work on a new helmet, you feel godly inspiration strike you. Feeling empowered, you go into the closest thing to a fey mood, striking hard with the hammer, the clangs ringing through the forest. Focusing hard on the shape and form, you let NOTHING distract you as ideas and godly knowledge swirl through your head. Finally, after hours of sweating and countless refinements, you come out of the trance and gaze on a helmet which has a craftsmanship that would make Hephaestus proud.
Now, maybe it just needs a name......((This is a free action))
The mithril helmet is in greek style with gold and platnium embossing on it, studded with prismatic bismuth, rimmed with steel. It's infused with elemental fire and Order magic, giving it extreme heat resistance and high resistance against psychic attacks. (Used 10 units of metal, gained mithril helmet with 100% heat/fire resist to fire attacks on head, +3 resist to psychic attacks, +3 damage resist to headshots. Gained Godly Inspiration, triggers when you get 2 sixes on a crafting roll)
Continue Exploring the chamber
[3]You search around on the current level and don't find anything of notice, so you head down to the next level. While exploring around there, you find a door with a sign above it that seems to indicate that it is, or maybe was, a library. However, the door is partially off its hinges, so you could see inside, if you had some more light anyway.
Old computers? Hmm...
Try to use my electricity to reboot the computer.
This will either be a massive success or a horrible failure. Then again, the same can be said about all RTD actions.
[2]You charge up a good amount of electricity and try to reboot it by zapping it with lightning. Huh, no effect.
Look for anything interesting I guess
[2]You fail to find anything interesting, despite the giant statue towering over you and the old animal nest in the corner, among other things.
