Decide my failings are due to lack of rest, and take a nap.

Head towards nearest castle while invisible, explore.

You do realize that the nearest castle is at least a hundred miles away? You can separate from the group, but do so at your own risk.

try making a buckler using a combination forging and alchemy.

Do you have a particular element you want to use? Because otherwise I'll choose at random.

Perform a protection ritual on the forest spirit. (E.g a blessing that protects it!)

Then follow Digital Hellhound. Bodyguard, here!

@LordInquisitor: The spirit doesn't actually need protection as its powerful, but I'll allow it since the spirit would appreciate the gesture. In fact, I was going to have it kill the ogres if Alethe hadn't fried their brains. I had planned on making it powerful enough to annhilate both ogres with a single attack, and completely negate any attacks on itself.

@Wolfchild: Okay, I've already got something in mind. Hint: It would be an ordinary forest animal and possibly inconspicuous.

I don't have time to do the rolls right now, so I'll have to do it sometime this evening or tonight.

Turn 16: The democentaur has left feet

find my approximate location and head of in the direction detailed in the map.
((For the trail thing, I'm using #'s 1-3 as left and 4-6 as right. The first roll was an actual RTD/luck roll.))
[3] You're kind of confused as to your approximate location, but manage to get on the trail. [1] When you come to the branch on the trail, you turn left, [2] left again (forward actually), [2] then left, then [1] you try turning left and wonder why the hell you keep turning left, you must have four left hooves or something.

Decide my failings are due to lack of rest, and take a nap.
[1] You utterly fail to take a nap, so [3]you get up again, at least this time without falling over.

try making a buckler using a combination forging and alchemy.
[5] You get off to a great start with forging, things are looking bright, so you choose [3] elemental earth for your first attempt at elemental forging. Here comes the moment of truth, [2] *CLANG!*, you fail to get any elemental power into it.[Luck:3] At least you've got a useable buckler that you can block attacks with. (used up one bar of metal, gained iron buckler (+1 dodge))

Head towards nearest castle while invisible, explore.
Uhh, yeah.

Who wants to come with me?

((If nobody comes, consider my action just helping people))
[4] You slip into invisible mode and head eastward. After a short while, you stop at a ridge which is at he edge of the large forest thats on your map. The trail continues down the hill and into the thicker forests, you can faintly see mountains in the far distance, the canopy spreads to the horizon and can hear the sounds of various wildlife.

Perform a protection ritual on the forest spirit. (E.g a blessing that protects it!)

Then follow Digital Hellhound. Bodyguard, here!

[1] You um, completely mess up the ritual, accidentially putting a curse on it. [2]You try apologizing to the spirit, but it just makes a PO'ed face at you. At least the spirit doesn't retaliate at you and it's powerful enough to remove the curse. Facepalming yourself, you continue on with Alethe.

Shift into an inconspicous animal, ans scout in the direction that i ended up going
[2] You... don't shapeshift into anything. So you just go and scout around on foot. [6] You start scouting in the direction you ended up going, scout yourself into the opposite direction and start following Alethe. You manage to get to the ridge shortly before Alethe does and while you were waiting, you spotted what you think are the ruins of some large temple in the distance to the southeast.

Alethe, Tharin, and Arngrim are at the forest edge, everybody else is in the area of the ruins. Also, I'm going to abandon my idea of keeping things geographically correct since well, wheres the fun in that?

Well, he IS a demigod and so, can carry tons of stuff. That and I'm not implementing encumberment/inventory slots. Actually, I think Faults old RTD/RPG (been dead for a while) is the only one that has the encumberment/inventory slots thing. AFAIK anyways. You should look at the Elemental RTD, there are people with tons of stuff, same could be true for Sean Mirrsens Multiworld, which is THE longest running RTD around here. I think it was one of the first as well.

Point out the temple to the others and shift into a form that is camoflaged with the surroundings (still staying human shape) take off clothes and put em in pack so camoflage can work, become sexless so there is nothing to object to, once those are achived, head towards the temple
