Put on my gauntlets. Ask the others if they want me to make anything for them. Lead the way i guess.

i vote mountains.

((wait a second why don't I have my chain mail equipped?))

Somehow i think Arngrims special way of speaking has something to do with his persuasion fail. Oh well.

Since Torc asks so nicely i ask him whether he could forge me a breast and a matching backplate. (You know, chain would take some while i guess.)

I vote for the mountain route; Though, our invisible friend should scout ahead.

She isn't invisible anymore, plus she now has a headache and can't concentrate very well to use her powers. Drex has the ability to summon imps, he could use that.

Also, a breastplate is usually for the entire torso.

wait where are we going?

anyway, light something aflame and go wherever it is we're going.

You could read the posts earlier, I'll take that as a no vote/don't care which way we go.

((wait a second why don't I have my chain mail equipped?))

No idea, and Alethe doesn't have them either :P I'm making alot of mistakes in various places aren't I?

Edit: Actually, looking back neither of you specifically said to equip them, but eh, they aren't going to be of use if they aren't equipped right?

Also, I seem to be sort of not sticking with a particular RTD ruleform (besides the most basic) and now that people are getting the bonuses, I wonder if I should switch to doing d12 (or 2 d6) or would that be too much of a change? I just haven't settled with a particular ruleset which is set in stone.

You really can both sig it.
But... That would break the laws of sigging! We can't have everyone running around with the same quotes. IT MAKES THEM UNFUNNY FASTER!

Umm... Travel?

Also, if Torc is up to it, request a shield and some sort of armor, or maybe my own pair of gauntlets.

Guys, you're forgetting to request what metal you want, iron or steel probably. Or should I just go and make the pile of metal into iron just for convenience? I don't think Torc is going to be making anything out of gold or copper or whatever anytime soon. I put it as just metal so as to have a generic metal for RP purpouses and just make the metal into whatever you guys want.

do you guys want the objects in question to do anything special? I mean come on Torc is a smith descended from the Greek god of the forge.

You know, Arngrim isn`t greedy. He doesn`t need fancy enchantments- Just a good ol` steel breastplate for some protection.

Turn 7: Ominous Discovery

Put on my gauntlets. Ask the others if they want me to make anything for them. Lead the way i guess.

i vote mountains.

You equip the gauntlets and ask the others if they need anything made for them. ((Crafting rolls will come a bit later in the turn.))

You ask him if he could forge a breastplate and matching backplate, he takes the crafting order. You also state no thanks on enchanting them when asked. ((Crafting roll coming later))

wait where are we going?

anyway, light something aflame and go wherever it is we're going.
[4] You find a nice big stick and light the top portion.

Remember this form for later, and change back, illusoraly change nerberhar's staff into a huge stick insect
[1] You're still stuck in this form, at least you'll remember the form. [3] Tharin tries to make Neberhars staff look like a giant stick insect and manage to have it resemble a dead stick insect. [luck 2] Neberhar apparently doesn't notice it.

Umm... Travel?

Also, if Torc is up to it, request a shield and some sort of armor, or maybe my own pair of gauntlets.

You ask for a shield and a pair of gauntlets, although you'll have to wait for Torc to do Arngrims request.

Equip that armour, chill out and follow the others.
You equip the armor, try to chill out [2][3], you're still a bit bruised and the headache is still there. Then you follow everybody else.

Crafting session: [4]Torc takes two iron bars (for each half of the torso armor), and creates a well crafted breastplate with matching backplate. [3]The shield starts out not so great, [luck 2]Torc tries to improve the quality of it, but doesn't manage to fix it up. It's still useful however (would have been +2 defense had he been able to improve it). [3]The gauntlets start out the same way, [luck 1]but in his attempt to fix it up, he completely ruins the gauntlets, rendering them useless. (used up 5 units of metal, gained a chunk of scrap worth 2 units and can be reforged or melted, or used for other purposes)

((Remember the nukes that I mentioned in the OP? You're going to be seeing mutated beasts along with some mythical monsters, who are possibly mutated as well.))

About a day later of hiking through the steep terrain, you come across the remains of a large animal resembling a giant bear, bigger than a grizzly, with what appears to be a row of spikes running down its back and strange eyes. There is still a good deal of tissue on it, but its too rotten to be of use. One of you notice that its skull has been caved in, better keep an eye out for whoever killed the beast. Still in werewolf-like form, Tharin notices a strange smell, but no sign of tracks.
