Name: Andre
Gender: Male
What diety you are a descendant of: Hera
Powers/abilities (3 maximum to start with):
Compelling Voice
Super-strength
Appearance: Tall and broad-shouldered, with a strong-looking face framed by short, cropped hair and a full beard, a dark brown in color. Tends to dress in elaborate indigo clothing befitting a monarch, though it is practical enough to fight in.
Other relevant details you want to add: Loves humans and desires to lead them; hates demons with an uncontrollable passion.

Is this ok?

While the details and other stuff are fine, I'm not sure how to use super strength and compelling voice. For compelling voice, I could treat that like a persuasion roll. While its not exactly a power IMO, it's doable since it sounds like your character would have charisma and some speaking skills.

As for super strength, I haven't dealt with that in the rolls, so I'm not sure how to use that one. I mean its fine for your character to have that.

As for everybody else, I'm starting up the rolls shortly.

Oh yea, I remembered last night that I forgot to subtract the metal used up when you made Jorns axe earlier, just letting you know MagusBlack. I'm planning on making some of the scrap from the defeated mech useable as loot if you choose to gather some, so the supply will get replenished.

DemiGods RTD: Turn 57: Attack Of The Fail Rolls!

Turn 57: Attack Of The Fail Rolls

Everybody got low rolls this turn, which did lead to some fun. I think this is actually the worst 'failing about' turn that this RTD has had, so far.

"Terminate that, terminator!"

Enter a martial trance (Including the swords bonus) and hack at the arm of the mech.
[1+2][+1 to hit and -1 to damage taken][turn duration:3][Arngrim attack:1+1]
You enter a martial trance and feel the power flowing through your veins, yet that power doesn't help with aim as you miss the arm of the claw that is holding you, somehow.

Surprise attack while invisible, bitch

EDIT: At a weak point if I can reach one, of course.
[2]Still invisible, you unholster the club, and with a flick of the wrist, make two blades pop out of the sides. Meanwhile, you attempt to sneak attack, however [dodge:6]you trip over a rock, manage to do a rolling dive and get back onto your feet unscathed and still holding your weapon.

Unfortunately, you have partially spoiled your surprise since the mech briefly turns it's cameras towards a noise near you. Fortunately, you are still invisible and the mech quickly loses interest after a few seconds.

Fly onto the mech's back and start bashing at the first hatch in I can find.
[6]With a running boost, you fly at high speed onto the battle mechs back and land solidly. [2]Not bothering to look closely, you start bashing at the nearest spot that looks even vaguely like a hatch, with zero results. Even though randomly bashing things doesn't help, you did damage the shield a bit.

More Void!

[3][luck:5]Despite re-energizing the spell, you only manage a weak void. Due to luck though, you siphon the remains of the shield.

Quote from: Battle Mech
ELIMINATE TARGET!...CREATIVELY
[Battle Mech attack:5][Neberhar dodge:2][BP check:1][damage:1][landing dodge roll:4 6]
Locking sights on Neberhar, the mech throws Arngrim in his direction. As arngrim slams into Neberhar, sending them several meters away, the flat of Arngrims sword slaps into Neberhars head. Despite Neberhar getting a minor swelling on his head, both Neberhar and Arngrim land unscathed.

Break the leg joints with hammer blows.
[Torc Attack:4+1][Battle Mech dodge:5-1][battle mech attack:2]
Despite your fierce attack, the mech manages to sidestep your attack and attempts to attack you, and misses.

Sensing that it is potentially surrounded, the mech springs open all weapon ports, activates all available weapons, gets ready to fire them and.... ERROR! ALL AMMO DEPLETED!. With a few weapons actually going through firing motions, the mech undeploys the weapons and returns to melee mode.

Quote from: Battle Mech
WHACK TARGET
[Mech attack:3][Torc dodge:1][BP check:6][Damage:5+1][Jorn Dodge:2][BP check:6][damage:3]
Releasing one of Jorns legs, it swings and releases Jorn at Torc, who must have been surprised by the improptu weapon display fail, completely doesn't dodge. They both tumble a short distance into a group of large and sharp boulders. While Torcs leg gets badly smashed up, Jorn was a bit luckier as he only got a couple of gashes.

Scream uncontrollably like a japanese schoolgirl until the mech drops me in disgust
Hack its hands off and try not to hurt myself in the landing procedure...

((Sorry for completely derailing your action, heh))
[2]You probably did scream like a japanese schoolgirl, but at least you aren't now. Intent on attacking the mech, you make your way out of the pile of sharp rocks and find that the mech knocked you further away than you thought.
((The next two rolls were ones, so I've decided to spare you the pain of all that and stop your action here.))

DemiGods RTD: Turn 58: Battle Mechs don't die easily

Turn 58: Battle Mechs don't die easily

That mech is harder to kill than a roach I guess :)

Anyways, the epic attack fail which was so epic that I didn't bother to do a dodge roll for the mech, started the whole chain reaction in this turn.

Hit the sonovabitch with a storm of illusions, attempting to blind it
[2]You attempt to hit the mech with a storm of illusions by making your illusory mages fire at it, but instead they freeze in the middle of the firing proccess. You stare at the frozen illusions and go "What the hell??"

Well, if I can't get in... Run up to the head and impale it's cameras, Shadow of The Collosus style.
[5][Dragnar attack:5][Mech Dodge:1-1][damage:2 ((probably just means that you didn't damage anything else))]
Running straight up the mechs back you quickly find the cameras, smash and impale them, completely disabling it's visual capabilities. It is now completely blind, until it activates other sensors.

Quote from: Battle Mech
RAGE!
[Attack:1-2][Dragnar dodge:4][damage:6+3]
Furious, the mech attempts to grab Dragnar and instead plunges its claws into its head and procceeds to rip the head off in a shower of sparks and pieces of flying metal. Luckily, Dragnar was able to hop off the mech before it decapitated itself, and created some distance between the mech and himself just as Torc fired on it.. Deprived of many sensor modules and some decision making algorithms, it suddendly freezes, waiting for something....

this game really does not like Torc's leg

Healing Fire. Also fire ball the mech if there is time to.
[Torc Attack:6+2][Mech dodge:1-2][BP check:3][damage:3+3+2]
[6]While you make your way out of the cluster of boulders, you use healing fire, which heals the broken leg completly. Soon, you are out of there and in a direct line of sight with the mech. Taking the opportunity, you charge up a concentrated cylinder of fire so hot that the stream incinerates the air around it and fire. The plasma stream is so powerful that the mechs upper right arm is blasted away. Most of it was atomized and any pieces left are molten. Due to the heat, the lower arm gets scorched as well as part of the torso armor.

Blast the mech with a lightning bolt.
[Neberhar attack:6][Battle Mech dodge:1-2][damage:4+3]
With an equally powerful display of destruction, you unleash a powerful ligntning bolt that completely fries nearly all of the electronics, leaving it a dead, smoking, hulk.

Re *stkkt* boot *bzztt*
[4]Surprisingly, it has an old backup system that is operational and is now trying to revive itself. [2]In response to the automated backup system, the mech attempts to walk forward and promptly falls over with a loud crash.

BREAK ITS ANKLES WITH MY BARE HANDS IT DISHONORED ME!
[4]Not caring that it is a dying hulk, you charge at it and smash the ankles (or what you think are ankle joints) until you are satisfied that you killed it by tearing off the mechs feet.

Rage against the machine.

E.g attack it.
[3]Emulating a rage against the machine, you climb on top of its back and whack it several times with your sword. You then admire your artwork of smashed up armor plates.

[LR arm attack:6-2][UL arm attack:4-2][LL arm attack:6-2][Arngrim Dodge:1][Jorn Dodge:1][BP check: 6 3][Damage:2 2]
With a spasm and a burst of speed, the mechs three functional arms catch anybody nearby by surprise, which just happens to be Arngrim and Jorn. One arm thrashes into empty space while the other two grab Arngrim by the leg and Jorn by his right arm. Either through luck or because the mech is dying, they don't sustain much damage beyond some cuts.

Battle Mech
Statuses: Blinded (-2 to attack and -1 to dodge)
Damage
Head: Ripped off, by the mech itself.
Torso: Armor plates on parts of the right side melted slightly, Circuitry fried
UL Arm: Circuitry fried
UR Arm: Destroyed and remnants are molten
LL Arm: Circuitry fried
LR Arm: Some melting and internal damage, Circuitry fried
Left Leg: Circuitry fried, foot torn off.
Right Leg: Circuitry fried. Foot torn off
