It is EPICALLY dead, which is probably about as dead as you can get. It's not one of those creatures that can pull itself together after it was exploded. That kind of thing would be reserved for a boss enemy if it makes sense for it.

Wait missile what missile where is there mention of a missile.

http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/missile

Arrows fit the definition of missile since they are projectiles.

I actually mentioned missile about halfway into your turn and then switched back to arrow near the end. Saying Hyper-arrows just doesn't sound quite as cool anyway.

DemiGods RTD: Turn 40: RNG's/Neberhar's luck runs out.

Turn 40: RNG's/Neberhar's luck runs out.

Man, RNG had quite a streak of good rolls, then BOOM, disaster.

BTW, I'm basing the Tyrant loosely off of the Harkonnens in Dune. Mostly the wickedness and ruthlessness than the depravity, but if you've read the Dune series (plus those by Frank Herberts son), then I'm sure you get what I mean.

[Random rain stoppage:4] The large cloudburst levels out and dissipates.

Quote from: ???
???
A large framed man with flowing robes and greying hair bursts into his security captians office bellowing angrily "Captian, I thought you had your psi-defenses managed!" Captian: "Sir..." ???:"One more word and I'll have your throat slit! I just detected and tried to destroy a spy who managed to get close to me psychically, but they managed to escape. If you had the defenses up, it wouldn't have happened." With a sinister smile, he speaks "You do know what happens to those who fail me?" Captian:"Y-yes sir" ???:"GOOD! Now you had better tell me you did detect the threat..." Captian:"Um sir, somehow we didn't dete-" "LIAR!" Suddendly the mans arm whips out as he throws several sharp daggers into the captians body. Tapping an ear device, he speaks "GUARDS!". Several men in soldier uniforms rush in, "Take this... traitors body away, if anyone asks, kill them" Tapping on his ear device again, he speaks to his top advisor "Assign a new captian of security, and THIS TIME, make sure they are loyal! Also, I sense some enemy fighters on the way here but are many days away. Deploy Countermeasure Alpha-Omega-Gamma."

*fade to black and return to the adventurers*

It just occurred to me that nobody has done the following.

Loot the temple, but leave any shrines intact.
[1][luck:2] You decide to attempt to loot the temple and in your search, find some sort of golden mask. You reach for it and the instant you touch it, there is a rumbling as the floor opens up and you plummet down. [dodge:2][BP check:4][damage:6]As you plummet, you attempt to slow yourself, but it doesn't help, so you land in a big chamber with such force that you absolutely shatter your left leg, causing so much pain that you promptly pass out from it.

The last thing you saw before getting knocked out by the pain were some statues of some description, you think you saw them holding bows and arrows. Your luck certainly ran out here and it won't get much better when you find out what is in this chamber. ((chamber contents are not determined by rolls btw))

Take another Cursory look around, then find my companions
[3]You look around and besides what you've already seen, there are some tomes on high level magic rituals. [6]However, you decide you have no time to investigate, so you quickly find your way out and catch up with the others in time before they leave.

Well now. I assume it to be dead.
TO THE TOWN!
[4]TOWNWARD HO! You make good time and are now two turns away from the town. You should take care of your wounds soon though as you're bleeding all over the place.

((Also, you can dismiss your imps at any time as a free action instead of waiting for the summon timer to expire.))

To the north! Following the other guy(s).
[5]

Now he knows we're coming. Oh well.

To the north I go!
[4]

Try to mount Bitsy again. Follow the others.
[6]

NORTHWARD HO! Torc perfoms an acrobatic maneuver and mounts Bitsy. Meanwhile the four of them continue on northwards with Torc on the Earth Spider somewhat ahead of Arngrim, Alethe, and Tharin. They are still at least two turns away from Drex's position. ((To note, it is possible for everybody to ride the Earth Spider at once to go faster (it's a huge critter), although it may slow Bitsy down somewhat.))

SHapeshift into an animal that can travel fast for long distances, (a bird probably)

and keep traveling north with the group

You really can both sig it.
But... That would break the laws of sigging! We can't have everyone running around with the same quotes. IT MAKES THEM UNFUNNY FASTER!

Well, you rolled a 2 for the luck roll and the dodge roll. If you had rolled a 3 for the dodge, I would have said that you managed to slow yourself down a bit and if it was a 4 or more, I would have said that you slowed yourself down enough to escape injury.
