Turn 20: The Stone Guardians..... Awaken.

[6] You go off in some direction and soon come to a partially obscured entrance (despite the entrance being tall enough for giants to walk through), peeking inside, you see a huge passageway that extends quite a ways, along the walls are several stone giants. As you enter, you hear, or you THINK you hear grinding stone and quickly try to locate the source of the sound. Hm, nothing, maybe it WAS your imagination, so you walk towards the other end, which is blocked by a great stone door.
Throw alethe into the cave again and laugh.
Follow alethe wherever she goes.
[6]You follow her, literally, and almost run over her multiple times, occasionally poking her accidentially with your sword, for whatever reason. You come to the same clearing and are intrigued by the carvings and statue remains, however you are more interested in them than she was, so you don't immediately notice the animal noises.

Try to get to the temple
[6] You speedily make your way to the temple, walk right past the others and come to a clearing with a few stone ruins ((think Hindu or SE Asia)), possibly the remnants of statues. While you are looking at the carvings, you hear a nearby animal sound and spot a reptillian monkey-like creature dissapearing into the canopy. Out of curiosity, you approach where the creature was and stop when you hear some other noises, but can't see who's making them.
Explore the temple
[3] Exploring around on your own, you don't manage to find anything as awesome as what Drex found, however you do find out that you are at the base of a large dome shaped structure. You have yet to find the entrance though.

[3] You decide to follow Drex and help him, but you can't seem to find the partially obscured entrance. What you DO find are a bunch of carved figures of some scene on the wall. [luck:4]You take a moment to try and decipher the mural and come up with a vague idea of it: The first part of it has several rows of stone giants which all face a golden ankh that seems to be shooting rays of light at the stone giant. Below this scene are the same giants, facing outwards this time, in the middle is what appears to be a doorway arch with various other carvings.

[3] For a second, you think about exploding a big crater somewhere in the temple, but change your mind against that and instead fly up a few hundred feet or so. While you can't exactly 'explore' from way up, what you do see is that the temple complex is huge and you are just on the edge of it.
AWAKEN!
Just as Drex gets to about the middle of the corridor of the giants, there is a sudden rumbling from ALL SIX of the stone giants as they awaken and start moving. They begin to move out of their alcoves, but since the giants haven't completely awoken, there is time to get the hell out of the corridor, OR attempt to run for the door on the other end. Choose. Your. Fate.... Drex....
Approach curiously
A creature the size of a large baboon peeks out of the trees at Alethe, it has monkeylike limbs along with a head that is between that of a lizard and a monkey. Main features are scales of various colors and patterns, small spikes running along the back.[5]Since he is one of the braver ones in its pack, he approaches Alethe with curiosity, making a couple of monkeylizard noises.
Not threat he thinks and chitters back at his packmates, they aren't sure what to do about the strange (to them) creatures, are they food, or no? Neither he or the pack shows any signs of aggression.
