Gah, I've done it for the billionth time and this time I have no convenient save file to run back to.

I was using QuickFort and decided to undo the designation, but I forgot to remove the designation building downward stairs halfway down my main stairwell. Is there any way to add an up stairway, or to totally remove the stairwell and rebuild it? Trying to build an up stair on top just doesn't work, which just sounds sorta stupid. I don't wanna have messed up my entire stairwell.

Dig it out and construct (b - C - x) some up/down stairs.
