Ustrá Heatedflames the Hot Hot Flame-Flame of Flames was a deity that occurs in the myths of The Uncommon Boyish Kingdom of Racing. Ustrá was most often depicted as a male human and was associated with ...... volcanos!

So, that's the volcano god of joyriders and carjackers.  Cool!  Presumably his worshippers have big orange flames painted on the sides of their wooden carts.

In a fat-fingered moment while setting up another military squad I accidentally created a captain of the guard rather than a militia captain.  His squad of near-legendary hammerdwarves equipped with high quality silver hammers then took it upon themselves to dispense justice to all the mandate breakers in the fortress.  It was quite messy.

Perhaps they prayed for engravings, and the magma was divinely influenced to carve images?

This is a fox skull helmet. All craftsdwarfship is of the highest quality. It menaces with spikes of fox bone and is encircled with bands of fox leather. This item is haunted by the ghost of Alfador Angrorung the fox.

I guess thats a reasonable explanation.

But theres the other thing...conglomerate shouldn't be able to resist magma...the whole underground section of the temple around the magma is conglomerate.

A bug is no longer a feature in Dwarf Fortress - it's a miracle.

I found one God of treachery, lies, and forgiveness. The high priest told me to put my faith in lies...

Great. Now I have an thought where Mordor declares war upon these guys. I bet the goblins would win thanks to their (cross)bows.

Edit: I have begun worship of Sas the Dessert of Symmetries. He is decipted as a male human and is associated with Balance and Food. The god of dieting?

Beware. Not of the E, or of the U, or even of the &, @, and b. Beware the #.<BR>(Translation:) Beware. Not of the elephants, or of the unicorns, or even the demons, carp, and badgers. Beware the husks, for they are relentless, corrupting, and unstoppable. Only the might of hell itself can even keep it in check; and only for a small period of time. If one sees such a being; run away, unless you like the idea of joining their ranks.
