By the way: I'm currently building a frame for the current story, so I have to ask: would you like the descriptions of, er, "what happened" toned down for the next one?  I ask because most of the comments on BMIX came in the vein of "Um, that's very well-written, but it's also really disturbing."  As such, I can use various narrative techniques to move the reader closer to or farther away from the action, as desired.

Alrighty, guys.  Here's how it's going to work:

I'm almost done with BMIX.  Once I finish, I'll probably open signups for the Near-Mountainous.  Then, in a while, you guys are going to get some sort of bastard mod puzzle thinger.  It may be completely failtacular, but it should at least be interesting to read through =/

When I said that BMIX was "disturbing" I meant it in the way that a particularly powerful emotionally negative scene is; a sudden twist that betrays the ugly side of people, that sort of thing. I'm sure there's a better word for it, but the little lexicographer in my brain has been napping somewhere, and most of my mental dictionaries are shelved and covered in dust.

So yeah, I didn't think it was bad, but go with whatever flavor you're inspired to go with. I may or may not be interested; deciding whether I want to take a break from Mafia or not.

Hey, fair enough.  To be honest, I really want to spend a bit of time thinking about how I'm going to do things next round.  This round sort of came off like an encounter group for the shy, retiring, and depressed, all capped off with a side order of philosophy and sarcasm.  I need to take some time to choose some new colors for the next work.  It shall be the FLCL to BMIX's Neon Genesis Evangelion, by which I mean that it will probably go down like a flaming airplane full of hyperactive kittens.

But it will be fun, and I promise you that the characters will be outrageous.  The nose-crushing princess may make an appearance :3
