With this gun, I rise above the squalor of earth, the dust of the West and the insufferable noises of animals being herded, both those in the fields and those in Walmart.

With this gun, I pierce the heavens!

Once I had skin, once I had muscle
Now I will kill you, steal it in the tussle
You will be my suit, my lovely new coat
They'll never find the remains, down in the moat.

Oh, cool, poetry competition! :P

My name is King of Starry Skies,
And here I stand where man-kind dies.
My gun in hand, the earth is sand,
I bring death to the brave and wise.

I wish you all didn't have changing avatars... >_>

Heavy inspiration from Tolkien in this one: (If you've read The Hobbit, you should know what poem I'm ripping off)

This thing all things erodes~
Houses, people, cities, roads~
It blackens trees, it withers flowers~
Crushes mountains, crumbles towers~

Its work continues, never stopping~
Kings unmaking, giants dropping~
It cannot be stopped, you'll know if you're smart~
It even rips whole worlds apart~

The lady with the hourglass.

My head can break bricks;
So, for my pistol all things
Cannot very easily fix
I use my head, and my wings.

((Your gratuitous use of tildes is causing me physical pain.))

It adds a little bit of flavor. Also signifies that it's part of the poem. I know that isn't what you're meant to use tildes for, but I like it.

---I'll be putting a Haiku here this time. Once I've figured out what your avatar even is.---

Carved in ice and snow~
A litany of sorrow~
Never to escape~

Done. Note, the meaning of litany I'm using here is the 'repetitive series' one.
