Blowing up booze

I'm currently building a fort with an awesome version of almost every way you can kill an invader.  As part of that effort, I'm building a room full of booze ready to explode when lit.

What methods are there for causing alcohol to explode?  I was thinking of just dropping a little bit of magma in.  Will that work?  I've also seen references to using fire snakes or imps, but I don't have any captured (maybe I should work on that).  I think it would be more fun to set the invader on fire with magma and have them light the barrels, but that requires some careful control, and I just want something that will definitely blow.

You could try and put a single patch of 2/7 magma or something in the entrance and force them to go through it. Or just drop magma onto the booze which would make it explode before it could melt.

Capture any invader
Cage invader above booze stockpile
Put magma shower between invader and ramp down to middle of booze stockpile
???

Shouldn't you set an invader on fire, then cage them? Then you can put the cage in your exploding booze pile trap, link it to a lever, and wait. Whenever you want to set it off, pull the lever, letting the ON FIRE captive out in your booze pile.

note that exploding booze won't actually kill anything.

it looks freaking awsome and sets every damn thing around on fire though.

  has anybody tried the caged burning goblin as a lighter trick?   Portable fire on command could be quite useful

Dorfs, at least, will bleed to death in a cage.  Not sure if gobbos do too.

gobbos do too. If their wounds are severe enough, that is.

my usual gobbo-disposal system is a single-tile-wide winding corridor full of weapon traps, with cage traps at the end to catch anything that manages to slip by the jammed weapon traps. I often end up with cages that contain corpses.

Someone in the forum mentioned that coke roads are flammable. the same probably goes for coal roads. i'm sure you can find a use for this information  ;D

That was me  :) at least I THINK they are flamable,they should be.(Edit)They are NOT flamable,I thought they were but they are not  :(  :-[ also they generate very large amounts of smoke and with me have never burnt up so they could be used as a gas chamber or something.
