Check your plants too for growth. Water thjem if possible.
You havn't planted any yet, and there wouldn't be growth anyhow, even with my weird time scale...
Don't have to be in a tropical area to have something like bamboo. Around here we've got lots of cane which is fairly similar. Doesn't seem to grow as wide or as tall, but still plenty large enough to make a spear.

You come to the clearing you've been in twice before, and decide to sneak up to their last encampment site... you approach it silently, and just as you stick your head above the bush-line, you see nothing... no signs of life, other than the plants... there is a scorch mark in the grass from the flames, but there isn't a tent set up, nor evidence of a rushed leave... you DO however, find the little bowl you made... seams they didn't like it..... :{C{>
