You cant be that blunt, especially with those who dont like you... maybe you should try with someone who is more willing to be taught...

Try finding some way to draw, Communicating by drawing is the EASIEST. Hopefully we can have some sort of shared written language with these outsiders. Take the meat from the person, state Bob's word for meat as SLOWLY and WELL PRONOUNCED as possible. Don't eat the meat though. We first should draw something loosely symbolizing friendship.
OR
We could try repeating what they say and using our Caveman Intuition to guess their words.

Is the meat cooked???

If not 'ignore' them as you cook it, add the parsley and offer it back to them...

You accept the provided meat, but withhold from eating it just yet, and with your newfound assumed freedom, you head outside and grab a Flint slab, and a Limestone stencil. You draw upon the slab as best that you cant, they obviously saw 'The Lost Light' but couldn't under stand the representation of things, so you start simple, you draw a wolf, a knife, a fire, and a picture of the parsley, you dont think they season their meat, and confirm this when you eat the paice of meat they gave you... it's also barely cooked! Just enough to brown the outside, but not the middle! You show the kind woman your pictures and point to each one, and say your words for them, she seems confused, and so do the on-hearers, they didn't know you spoke a different language... or that you can draw... "Bash'ni! Vrok'dah kleft'na." The men murmer to themselves... while the woman you spoke too realizes what you are trying to do... and tries to replecate the complicated anunciations of proper english, "woulph, na-if-e, f-ai-re, brok'to nad'aa?" she skips the last one... parsley is just too unknown...

They day goes on like this... you trying to teach her, while she tries to learn. By the end of the day she can speak every word you can, but can't form correct sentences... "Hunt weapon beast. Cut meat. Cook fire meat. Eat cook meat." Well, it's a start... you also learn the names of everyone, but cant recall who is who... but your student is Naish'na.

I'll ingnore that last bit and say

>Sleep. We can do no more good today.

Tomorrow, if they remain in your cave, teach them how to make pottery. Also, see if you can get close to Naish'na, but be very, very, very cautious. If we upset her, our head will be floating down stream and our body will be headed upstream in some scavengers stomach.

Well, turns out I can get bored while I'm busy, so I'll pick this up on the weekends...

After finishing up your students studies, you lay down where you woke up... Seems they didn't know what your bedding was so they tore it up and threw it in the flames...

You dream... similar to before, but different all the same... there are more people, and constructs... you work at your forge, and pull something out of it... it glows brightly... but then all goes dark, you look up into the sky, and the sun is gone!

You wake in a cold sweat... really cold... you're shivering, the fire is out, and there is snow blowing in from outside! Everyone else is just as panicked as you are, and aren't doing anything at all...

If we have any large skins, and if we have the ability, attempt to hang them over the entrance. Ask Naish'na if she's single if she can get a fire going inside. Put everyone else close together to share body heat.

Using your quick thoughts, and un-challenged intellect. You coordinate with your student to save everyones lives... "Naish'na!" You call out to her and try to form a sentence she could understand... "Make, Fire! Keep, Others, Close!" You then run outside and grab the bear hide, along with a few heavy rocks... you can see she got a fire made, but it wont last long with all the snow blowing in. You jump onto the top of your cave entrance, and drape the hide over the edge, and weigh it down with the rocks...

You hear howling off a ways... You look to see where it's coming from, and there are a pack of wolves on the forest line, they eye you constantly... Remembering what you are doing, you grab some branches off the felled tree, and run inside...

All is well, though everyone is still panicked and a bit cold, the flames keep everyone from dieing of hypothermia...

Not much we can do but congratulate Naish and wait out the storm.

Next chance we get we need to find some nice smelling herbs and rub ourselves down after another bath.

You thank your student, but then she thanks you... you have an awkward moment... she blushes and returns to the other people, who are huddling very close to the flames. You wonder what the heck just happened... then take a look outside. The wolves you spotted are circling around your wall...

One of the burlier men, who you suspect is a flaming homo-sexual is the leader of his tribe, walks over to you, and looks out... He gets a dreadful look upon his face... and returns to the fire... you can over hear something but still have no idea what it means... Naish'na looks over at you, she also looks like the world is about to end... "Snow Spirits!" that's all she says...

A sense of Heroism comes over you, you grab your ax, and your spear, you stand at the entrance, and look out once more. The wolves are still circling... You speak back to the tribe "I'm going to go kill them." Then you exit the cave, and brace for battle!

The wolves jump over the wall and circle you now.

DO NOT THROW SPEAR. IS WASTE OF WEAPON.

Stick your axe in the ground with the handle up so you can grab it once your spear gets stuck in a wolf. Stand with your legs wide, lower your center of gravity, and growl. Show both rows of teeth, just top teeth tells them that you fear them.

You stick your ax into the ground, and stand with your feet wide. You bare your teeth and growl deeply at them... Two of the runts whine a bit, but the alpha barks at them and they regain composure... On that matter you think that if you take out the alpha male, the rest would just flee in terror...

But like any good plan, the minions go first... one of the runts pounces towards you, and you skillet it in the neck, and quickly throw it to the side... you growl again, and the other runt runs off...

Next, one of the bigger ones circles around to your back... while two others approach from in front... you manage to skillet one, but the other two quickly pounce and topple you to the ground! The others are about to follow 'suit.

You grab your ax and almost cleave a head off! But still pinned, there are 4 wolves ontop of you and biting your limbs! The alpha circles 'round and enters your cave. You hear a shreik, and a few shouts!

if you have a hand capable of movement:

stone pencil ==> Wolf eye. Make it happen.

Otherwise I dunno a strategy for geting the wolves off. Try biting ones throat. KEEP YOURS PROTECTED, THATS WHERE THEY'LL GO NEXT.

You keep trying to shake them off, but they are biting at the joints, so it's neigh impossible... You start to lose consciousness from the cold and the blood loss..... You hear a high pitched squeal, then you drift away.....

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

You see some bright lights, they entice you, and you start to move closer..... but something wraps around your chest, and you are pulled back... you see faces of loved ones, some not yet born, and some long dead... you grin, and are pulled back into the realm of the living...

.....

You wake up in your cave, you aren't bleeding, but you hurt all over, Naish'na is tending to you, the others are feasting on wolf meat... You aren't bandaged but you dont think the wounds are infected... "Gad'kai Kill Snow Spirit. Save you!" Naish'na looks like she had been crying, and after glancing over at the others, a few have fresh wounds...
