Let the meat sit for a while, grab your spear, then check on the figure.

You let the meat sizzle, choke it down, you really need to get something to drink soon, grab your cache of weapons, and set out to the figure. When you leave your cave, the snow has stopped enough to make out your wall, the figure is still un-discernable from the trees, other than it is moving... you shuffle out to it...

The closer you get, the more person looking it is... you sneak up behind them, and just as you are about to quiery on they're presence in the snow, they collapse... you stand over them, pondering on what to do with them...

I have never accually used "them" in the singluar before now... but this is also clarifying, "them, and they" all refer to ONE person.

Bring the mystery person to the cave, and if you don't recognize them tie them up with our skin scraps.

Use the bedding to warm them up, of course.

Bedding has been removed. Reason: Once hostile, now questionable, Tribe threw them in fire.

Use the cape thing we have then. We just need to cover them with SOMETHING warm if we know them.

You scoop the person up, and carry them back to your cave, you can't immediately recognize them, for the snow has covered their face. once you get them inside, you put another peice of meat over the fire, and set about to reviving your new compatriot... You brush the snow of their face, and immediately recognize who she is! It's Naish'na! You scramble to do everything else, completely brush the snow off of her, and wrap her in your Cape, and lay her next to the fire... You geet colder yourself, but you can put up with it for now...

Move Naish'na closer to the fire, manually feeding her when necessary.

You wouldn't dare move her any closer to the fire... you've learned all to well about what could happen... but you do try to feed her some food... she chokes it down, but then bolts upright! She looks over to you, then feints again..... a couple hours pass, you try to stay warm, but there isn't much you can do other than huddle near the flames. Naish'na wakes once more, this time a little less violently...

NO NO NO! Not sugar cane. As I said we just call it 'cane' around here. It grows wild and is almost just like bamboo. And around here is Arkansas, not tropical.
