Woo! Can't wait :D

Name: Johnny Bison
Appearance: A bit tall, wears jeans and a t-shirt and occasionally a hoodie. Short dark brown hair. Pretty average looking, really. Wears a tattered old bracelet as a good luck charm, given to him by an old friend he lost touch with.
Background: Unemployed for the last two years, working various odd jobs. Practices parkour in his spare time.

Violent video games  ;D This RTD is very promising.

Suggest we divide the money six ways. And then take my share.

I think if he would be arrested they would put him in a pysch ward or something, I mean he's wearing a goddamn cape.

At the next group meeting, Henry agreed with McCoy: Split the money 6 ways, for $100 each.

"We have to be more careful. No killing. We didn't accomplish anything by it. We'd get maybe eight months in jail if they caught us on an armed robbery, but it's life for murder. And the guy saw nothing the cameras didn't see anyway. Let's not have any more senseless blood on our hands."

"As for guns, I agree. We should get them. Problem is, the money we got off of this last job was probably just barely enough to cover the purchase of one."

[Since crimes tend to rack up in severity, can I not commit violent acts like smashing the guy's face on the counter unless that's actually part of my action, please?]

Okay, so, today this girl I know-Lauren, just took a sudden dis-interest in talking to me. Is she just on her period or something?

Absolutely -- I didn't really think that turn through. You were all wearing masks anyway, so identifying who actually committed the murder will be difficult. Plus by not reporting the crime, you're automatically accessories. Anyway, I won't make your character anything do explicitly beyond what your action is.

Just a quick note, but given that you guys are criminals, you don't necessarily have to go through legitimate means to acquire a gun. Street guns are pretty cheap depending on where you might be, ranging anywhere from $80-$300 for a 9mm. Of course, buying off the street has its risks; the police don't know your faces, so you could go through official channels if you really wanted.

Turn coming in an hour or so.
Edit: Actually, I'll give maxicaxi another 4 hours or so to post his action, then I'll do the turn.

Turn 5: Dividing the Spoils.

As the minutes tick by, only a few members of the group had assembled. Dezrick, Finley, and Looie were all rather late.
"They're taking their sweet time. I wonder if they got picked up by the cops?"
These words silence what little conversation was ongoing. Perhaps the seriousness of their crime hadn't set in yet, though more likely they were simply trying to avoid thinking about it.

By the time Finley and Dezrick arrive, the atmosphere inside the shed is grim. They sit down opposite each other.
"It's about time we start."
"What about Looie?"
"We'll fill him in later."
Sweeping the newspaper clipping off the table, the group gets down to business.
"Let's divide the cash and figure out what we're gonna do next."
"$600 means $100 for each of us. Set aside $100 for Looie. With that done, I think we should direct our efforts toward acquiring weaponry. Who was it that said they had street connections?"
"Ah, that was me. Actually, it's the friend of mine who knows a guy. I told him about our group."
"You did what? We fucking agreed to keep this confidential. No one, not family, not friends."
"I wouldn't have told him if we couldn't trust him."
"Doesn't matter. It's against the principles we founded this group on."
"I didn't know we had principles. We just killed a goddamned innocent for pocket change!"
With this, silence overtakes the room again.

Finley stands. "I'm going to step outside for a minute."
No one can blame him.

While outside, Finley washes off the knife and wipes down the handle. Detaching the blade, he borrows Dezrick's kitchen and boils it in water for a few minutes, then swabs down both the blade and handle with ammonia thoroughly. Extracting DNA from it will be difficult, though not impossible.

When he returns, he's greeted by a new face -- Johnny Bison -- sitting in Looie's chair.
"Is this the guy you were talking about?"
"I took the liberty of calling him here while you were out."
"I worked at a warehouse a few months ago," says Bison, "They employed all sorts of street trash. I'm still in contact with a few of them."
"A guy, Travis, sells some pistols for cheap. He supplies some of the smaller gangs around town -- you know, the ones that aren't big enough to handle their own weapons trafficking. I'd suggest visiting him."
"How the hell can we trust you? You could be an informant."
"Tell me why an informant would infiltrate a group of five average guys, most of whom probably haven't even fired a gun before. The police here have actual gangs to worry about, not petty burglars -- that's what you are, right?" Bison's eyes flit over toward the cheap ski masks piled on a nearby table, "It's what you look like."

"Shall we go and get ourselves armed then? With pistols we could continue with the petty burglary until we have enough money and equipment to move foward with some of my grander schemes"

"Agreed. If possible, we should get more than one, but if it costs too much, we'll make sure Finley takes priority. He's got the most experience in shooting."

You really can both sig it.
