I'll post a turn sometime tomorrow unless Grakelin & maxicaxi post their actions in the next four hours or so.

Smash the camera with the broom handle and run for the car.

Spoiler: Rolls (click to show/hide)
Turn 3, a botched escape?

As the sirens near, Looie is overtaken by panic. Shoving his way through the group, he breaks for the door only to trip and fall flat on his face. He's almost completely unharmed, though no closer to the car than before.

Finley's prime objective is the disposal of anything that could potentially lead back to him. He looks around for the cashier's knife, only to find it still embedded in Rolf's abdomen. With one swift motion, he tears out the knife and slices open the witness' jugular, spewing blood over everyone inside the store. Rolf lets out a slight groan and grips his stomach, though he seems to be mostly okay. The bleeding isn't getting any worse, but it isn't getting better either. He digs through the shelves looking for some medication or gauze, but finds nothing. He trips over Looie only to be helped up by Finley. Together, they limp toward the car leaving a trail of blood behind them.

Dezrick didn't act fast enough to stop Finley's senseless murder, but now isn't the time for moral reflection. Wielding the broom, he smashes the security camera to pieces and makes his escape. McCoy checks over the scene, noticing Looie still lying on the ground. He helps the caped fellow to his feet and together they join the rest of the crew in the car.

Wolfe presses down on the pedal, ready to depart from the scene of the gruesome murder. Nothing happens. He turns the key. Nothing.
"Goddammit! The car was running just fine a minute ago!"
He tries again. No dice!
"This car's registered in my name," says Dezrick, "We can't leave it at a bloody murder scene!"
"We're fucking covered in blood and this guy's bleeding like crazy! If we get caught, this is your shitty car's fault!"
"The cops'll be here in a minute. If we don't start running right now, we won't be able to escape. The industrial sector's only a couple miles away. They should have some warehouses there."
"Sometimes this car takes a bit to catch, jesus! Just give it another shot!"
"Aggh! My liver, oh god, I can feel it! It's on fire!"

As these shouts are exchanged, it's clear you need to decide on a course of action and fast.

Perception roll! {Hidden}
You can hear how close the sirens are! The cops will be here next turn.

This is exciting to read. Any chance you'll need a replacement later though?

We'll see how the next turn goes. We do have one player in critical condition (a {1} and he's dead, a {2} and he's a turn away from being dead barring intervention). Even if they do all make it out alive, I'll probably open up a slot for you anyway; I just don't want actions to take forever to get in so I capped it at 6.

Right, well it will be my first RTD, it seems simple enough though. I read how it works, you just use a 6-sided die to do the rolls and I just do what I want to do.

EDIT: also I can get the forums on my phone, so you don't have to worry about me being inactive. I check the forums often from my phone.

Spoiler: Rolls (click to show/hide)
Turn 4, a narrow recovery.

The group is frantic, trying whatever they can to get out away from the scene of the crime. Rolf's abdominal wound continues to bubble blood as he clasps down on it, screaming. He tightens his grip on the wound and starts to fade in and out of consciousness. The blood looks like it's clotting -- the bleeding is stopping for now, at least. Rolf's lost a lot of blood though, and don't even mention the car's upholstery...

Cyrus pops out of the driver's seat, jogs to the front of the car, and pops open the hood. He checks the connections fiddling with some wires. Slamming the hood down, he returns to the driver's seat only to be met by Looie, who's gotten out of the car and is sprinting for the industrial sector.
"Like hell I'm gonna wait in that car and be shot again! I'm outta here."
It seems like he's made it pretty far -- he's completely out of sight now.

Dan wipes his brow, focusing on keeping the others come. "How's the car coming along? Someone get pressure on that wound! Let's hit the hideout right after this... you have a firstaid kit at your house, Dezrick?"
It seems to work. They aren't screaming at each other any more, at least.

Dezrick shuffles over to the drivers seat and turns the key.
"Come on, come on! Start, start dammit!"
The engine roars! It's on. Cyrus hops in the passenger side and the car is quick to accelerate away from the store. In the rear view mirror, flashing lights can be seen as they turn the corner. They drive straight for Dezrick's house -- it's the closest. They evade the cops easily enough.
Finley, who's in the back seat with Rolf, is trying to tend to the man's wounds. "Pressure, I need to apply pressure!"
He forces his hands down onto the abdominal wound, sweeping away the clotted blood and digging his fingers deep into the poor man's insides.
"ARGHHH! ARE YOU TRYING TO RIP OUT MY ORGANS?!" is the last thing Rolf can muster before he passes out. The blood's pouring out faster than ever now and forms a gruesome pool on the car floor.

They're at the hideout before they know it, and the group lays low for a few days. Rolf stitches up his wound on his own, and it's starting to heal by the time the group meets.

. . .

"Looks like we're in the paper... or at least our crime is."
Finley slides a small newspaper clipping to the center of the table. It reads:
Spoiler: Newspaper article (click to show/hide)
"And all we have to show for it is $600 friggin' dollars. We're murderers now."
"We can't do stupid shit like that anymore. We need to aim higher. I spent some time looking around, and there's this friend of a friend who might be able to hook us up with some guns."
