"He's pretty confident, but I'd feel more confident shooting a weapon that he didn't cobble together with bits of metal he found in somebody's backyard. Let's go meet your arms dealer, Johnny."

"And when Cyrus gets back, tell him not to be so eager to drive my car around."

Have Johnny bring us to the salesman.

Okay, so, today this girl I know-Lauren, just took a sudden dis-interest in talking to me. Is she just on her period or something?

Follow Johnny and the rest of the group.

"Yeah I wouldn't trust a gun made in someones backyard. It would most likely blew up in your hand if it even worked."

Reveal the address of the warehouse and chat a bit.

"Why are you guys in such a hurry? You should let things cool off a bit, you're not on a crime spree. Speaking of 'you', does this mean I'm in? I already know all of the details, so..."

Turn 6: "Shut up, Johnny."

"What, you guys are gonna actually buy guns? I made some crossbows in my youth, I'm sure I can whip something together a firearm. Just let me get some scrap metal."
Cyrus is quick to leave the shed and hop into Dezrick's bloodstained car. They hadn't gotten around to cleaning it yet, but it shouldn't matter too much -- some newspapers over the particularly egregious spots was probably enough. The nearest junkyard was twenty or so miles away, past the outskirts of the city. Surrounded by a high fence, Cyrus approaches the gate.
"Hey, I'm looking to buy some scrap."
The grizzled looking man behind the counter glances up, away from his magazine.
"Yeah, whatever."
Entering the junkyard, Cyrus appropriates numerous metal sheets, some sprockets, thin piping and a few fuel tanks. On his way out, he drops a fifty dollar bill on the the checkpoint counter, returning to Dezrick's car. Making a working firearm out of this stuff will be difficult... but it might be useful for impromptu car repair.

Henry Dezrick and co. are left without a vehicle and opt for public transportation, which takes them as far as the border of the industrial sector. They walk the rest of the way.
Johnny tries to make some idle chatter.
"So, what're you guys planning? Bank robbery? Burglary? I'm in, whatever it is. I'm pretty good at parkour, you know. Bit of a hobby of mine. Have you guys actually done anything yet?"
"We robbed a convenience store and killed the man inside."
"Haha, yeah right. You guys don't seem like the murdering type. Besides, convenience stores only hold a couple hundred dollars -- no one'd kill someone over that."
"Shut up, Johnny."
"More importantly, we need to pick up some medical supplies. I stitched myself up and disinfected the wound, but jesus, I don't want to have to do that again. Something stronger than advil to help the pain'd be nice too."

The conversation winds down as they approach the warehouse. They open the door and check out the inside. It's remarkably spacious; some crates in the corner and a few tables set up in the middle.
"Hey, Johnny! It's been a while," says a grimy looking man as he extinguishes his cigarette. "Didn't think you'd be one to buy guns illegally -- haha, glad you came around though. Now listen, I have a deal with a gang in about an hour, right here. Some of the shit they ordered is pretty limited, so no UZIs for you guys. Everything else is for sale."

Approaching the tables, you can see that the guns are spread out across; mostly pistols. Their prices are written in sharpie on pieces of tape in front of them.
The list:
Spoiler: List of guns (click to show/hide)
The selection isn't great, but guns are guns. A box set aside from the guns holds ammo. He's charging $15 for a box of 50 9mm rounds and $50 for a box of 100 .45ACP rounds.
A separate box is filled with kevlar vests, with "$1000 each" scrawled across the side.
"Can we test fire these guns, or at least strip them down and check for damage?"
"Listen, you need to grab your shit, pay for it, and get out of here. I don't have time for that."

The more time you spend browsing his selection, the more antsy he gets. You should probably choose quickly before the situation takes a turn for the worse.

Perception roll! {5}
Travis is clearly nervous. You can see a kevlar vest underneath his t-shirt and a gun in his jacket pocket. He might be expecting trouble at his next deal.

Pulling the other guys aside "This guy looks a bit edgy, maybe he can give us a discount on the guns if we offer our services as security for the deal. I volunteer Dan to discuss it with him."

You really can both sig it.
But... That would break the laws of sigging! We can't have everyone running around with the same quotes. IT MAKES THEM UNFUNNY FASTER!

Stallards are cheap pieces of crap, Glocks are the most popular guns for both law enforcement and criminals but don't have an external safety, and Colt SCGs are generally considered top-of-the-line as far as far as Colt's pistols go.

I'm going to start rolling for reliability -- for both cars and guns. These rolls are hidden, though you can ascertain the durability by examining it. Everything bought 'new' starts at 100 durability, though things bought second-hand will roll a number between 50-100. When durability reaches zero, all actions taken with the vehicle/gun receive a penalty.

This is pretty obvious, but higher quality equipment will apply a bonus to all actions taken with it -- so skimping on equipment probably isn't a great idea. You can figure out the bonus by examining the object; it starts out hidden.

"I'm not too good of a talker, so it definitely can't be me. But maybe he'll give us a few free guns if we act as security."

"Yeah I'll talk to him and see what I can get outta him."

Ask Travis about why he seems so nervous and if we can be of service in exchange for a few weapons and some ammo.

I thought we were missing two actions, not one, and had assumed interest had died. I'll change the title and give Grakelin another day or so to post.

[I really have no action to contribute, which is why I have waited so long]

Stand around idly, watching everybody else talk to the arms dealer
