It's jsut that even if you do get hold of some drugs, how are you gonna sell them? You can't just go to a corner and hang out a sign. Plus if you're caught carrying, your busted man. BUSTED.

"...we are already wanted for murder. And it would be quite easy to cut the stuff and distribute it slowly so as the cartel's won't notice, and even if they do how the hell are they even going to know who we are."

Just going to point something out:

Since this is a drug deal, that means there are two parties present. The cartel will be trading the drugs for cash. If both parties perish, you'd get both the drugs and the money. Assuming the gangs actually bring money to the deal, at least.

"Stay the fuck away from my car, Cyrus," Henry says as the mechanic is getting ready to pop the hood. "The car won't go any faster. I know you like 'upgrading' things, but it just doesn't make any sense."

I have an OCD, I have to make, improve or destroy advanced mechanical objects

Ps: Your car is barely qualified

Hmmmm, alright... Might as well go for broke here, since you need the cash.

Grab a backpack from Henry's house and on the way there make sure my pistol is ready to cap mofo's.

"Alright, but don't engage if this does turn into a bloodbath. We'll stay off to the side and catch them off guard as they try to get away with their loot. Mask up, gentlemen, nobody needs to know it was us. If possible, we'll bring two vehicles, so that we don't have to all pile into one. Park them a bit off, so that we don't get them covered in bullet holes, and so they can't identify the cars."

Wear my mask and bring one of the pistols with me as we head to the destination.

Spoiler: Rolls (click to show/hide)
Turn 10: Surveying the Scene.

"Let's do it."
"This is crazy. We're going to die."
"We won't know until we get there. 'Sides, if one of you die, it means more cash for me."

...

Cyrus has already popped the hood of Alexander's car. The Jetta is in great condition and it doesn't seem like there's much he can do. He yells at Johnny to tear out the back seats, then rummages through his toolbox.
He cuts a hole out of the airbox, then runs a hose through it and to the bumper. Slotting a funnel into it to increase the airflow, he considers tearing out the radiator. They'd lose a lot of weight but the engine'd probably explode if they ran it too long.
He mutters to himself, "The docks aren't far away. So long as I drive it, shouldn't be a problem."
Jacking the car up, he gets to work. Ten minutes later he's got it all but completely removed, and after another five the job's done. Discarding the heavy copper piece on the ground, he closes the hood. Johnny's removed the rear seats. Cyrus tears out the stereo, chewing off a few more pounds, then decides to remove the resonator box too.
"Ah, what the hell."
He heads to the rear and unbolts the muffler. This car's going to wake up everyone in the neigborhood if they push it too hard. Not exactly a low-profile vehicle.

Back inside the shack, most of the group is ready. Johnny, having finished with the seats a while ago, was looking over his Glock 17 carefully. He'd stripped it apart, checking the components for signs of wear. It wasn't in great condition, but it was serviceable for now. Slotting the pieces back together, he practiced loading and unloading it. It was a decent enough gun, though the lack of a safety seemed almost criminal. Not like it mattered to him, though.

Henry and Johnny are the only ones who decide to bring a mask.
"These guys are drug dealers and street crooks, it doesn't matter if they see your ugly mug."
"I'd rather not take any chances. We may be dealing with these 'street crooks' later."
Rummaging through his pockets, he finds the Glock 17 he had grabbed and then forgotten about. Fully loaded, too. Tugging back on the slide a tad, he slips it into his jacket once again. Just as he finishes, Cyrus bursts into the room.

"The Jetta's fully customized. If we're going to leave, we should probably leave soon."
Alexander apparently wasn't aware of the work being done on his car.
"My car? What the fuck did you do it!?"
"I tore out the rear seats, the radio, the muffler, and, uh, the radiator. It'll run fine if we take it nice and slow and don't push it too hard. I'll do the driving."
"You took out the radiator? You're insane... I suggest anyone who wants to live avoid that death trap. And won't removing all that make it loud as a goddamn aircraft?"
"You're overestimating the engine on that petty thing, but yes. It'll be loud. Everyone who takes the other car could probably slip away without anyone noticing, given all the attention the Jetta'll draw."

"Well, we've already decided on a course of action. No turning back."
Cyrus alone drives the Jetta, the rest jamming themselves into Henry's old Altima. The docks aren't far away and they're there in 10 minutes. The drive itself is uneventful, Alexander's driving proving to be relaxed and professional. Cyrus is a good deal slower than the rest, struggling to keep the engine quiet. Even with his efforts, he likely draws much ire from the inhabitants of Henry's neighborhood.

While on the way there, Howard digs through a backpack he found in Henry's house -- he flips through the paperwork inside then deposits it all on the floor of the car. They'll need something to carry the drugs and money in, after all. As they approach their destination, he notices Alexander looking a little nervous. Digging through his pockets, he finds the knife he used to murder the cashier and passes it to him. Anything's better than nothing. He checks over his pistol once, making sure a round's chambered and the magazine is filled.

Once at the docks, Dan and Johnny pop out, surveying the area. Jogging a little ways, they find a decent parking spot behind some shipping crates. (map: png jpg)
Johnny boosts Dan up ontop of one, affording him an excellent view of the surroundings. He counts 6 people who are probably gang members, judging from their street clothes. 3 men, presumably from the cartel are standing opposite. They're better dressed. Wait, there's a shadow behind the people from the cartel -- seems like a gang member. What's he doing over there?

Between the two groups sit two rather large suitcases. One is likely filled with money, the other drugs. Music is blaring from the gangster's cars, loud enough to  make it hard to hear anyone. Are they trying to draw attention to themselves?

Dan peeks over the edge and tells Johnny what he's seen.
"10 guys in all. 3 from the cartel, 7 from the gangs. We must've gotten here early. With any luck they'll shoot each other to death and we can swoop in and take the drugs and money."
"7 against 3? Those cartel guys don't stand a chance."
"Maybe not. Neither group knows we're here, though, and I doubt they're expecting company. Doesn't look like anyone's watching over the gang's cars, either. I think the cartel got here on a boat? Hard to tell, it's pretty dark."

Perception roll! {2} -> You don't notice anything in particular.

cheers for the map.

"Hmm I don't like the way things look here, I don't want to get involved in a straight gun fight. Would you guys be open to kidnapping anyone who flees this way. Either way things don't look good right now we will have to wait for them to take action.

By the way If any of you guys think you can get something out of those cars you can be my guest and I will keep watch for ya. 'Course that's entirely your choice."

I don't like it. It stinks of 'trap' and I don't like the look of the situation. Only 3 cartell guys? Come on, theres definately more around here somewhere...

Keep an eye on the guy in the back, he's up to something. Just make sure that you don't interrupt the deal, or your all screwed.

"Well.  How 'bout someone runs around the area, gets to the back gang car, searches, grabs junk, and runs back?  Preferably someone with a gun?  Who can run well?

Stays in the car
