Ive found skill rusting to be an absolute killer for my Doctors.  Time eventually makes fools of them all.

Yeah I think skill rust needs to be altered a ton....it seems way to quick and all...like if I stop riding my bike for a day my skill would rust...where in reality it needs to spread over months or a few years....in the dwarf world things rust so quick I cant keep my peoples skill level up hardly at all....

After all they can live to be like 180 or something...doesnt make much sense (balance wise) if they rust skills after a month of not doing them...

Skill rusting + the way the hospital works = I put all my non-hauler, non-crafters on permanent doctor duty. I'd rather have a fumbling noble take care of dressing a wound, than a lvl 5 (v. rusty) doctor who is drinking, sleeping, having sex, on break, and attending a party (at the same time).

Guro just fell over and was miserable. He stayed that way, occassionally tantruming and being fed - in the middle of the corridor.

Sorry, but take this out of context for a moment, and read it again.  It's damned hilarious.
