This RTD will take place in the year 3000. Although parts of the world are decaying, others are flourishing with technology. Several moon bases are currently in operation as well as three on mars. Atlantis is now the primary undersea port for all underwater cities. But the land based cities are getting hammered by artificially intelligent robots that have taken over in some places all over the world.
You all start in the once wonderful, multi-leveled city of Mangoline that is being subject to multiple attacks from the robotic menace that is Krygor.
I'll accept five players at first, but will most likely soon upgrade to seven like my other two RTD's. you guys will start as one of seven occupations. Each occupation gets one major and two minors except for the robot. in addition, you get one major/special skill of your choice.
Striker: well, they're police. they are also fighting against the robot invaders. they start off with your choice of a major in Driving, Ranged weaponry, melee weapons, or melee combat and get a minor in one of the other three. strikers wear a powerful suit that grants them superhuman abilities if upgraded. they also get a lazor Pistol or a plasma blade
Mechanic: they fix, build and do other things with electronic equipment. Majors include: car mechanic, electronic mechanic, driving, and computer hacking. Mechanics are granted with a Reformer Tool that will transform into almost any small, solid object you want. (It will not turn into some things. If you turn it into a gun, it will need bullets. You need nails if you make a nail gun, etc.)
Bounty Hunter: a cross between a striker and a mechanic. They are ruffians who sometimes spend their time racing legally or illegally through Mangalin. They get most skills by messing with improving their cars and hunting down criminals for rewards. the major is required to be driving but the minors include: car mechanic, melee weaponry, or ranged weaponry. they get a flying car at the beginning and that is it.
Hover Boarder: People who zip around on personal hover boards. Though these boards may be no where as fast as a car, they are far more versatile, earning people in this vocation the special skill reflexes (+1 to dodging). These people obviously get hover boards at the start. They also get a choice between the following for their major and minor skills; Weapons expert, strength, speed, melee weapons combat, or melee combat.
Assassin: People in this elite vocation have the eye of eagles. Assassins normally attack from afar, but can be trained for close combat as well. This path has the choice of sharp shooting, stealth, speed, agility, and melee weapons combat. This vocation comes with a lazer sniper rifle.
Customized: a person who has Two customized majors and two minors. the cost of this customized character is that they start off with no gear.
Robot: a part of the enemy force. they learn skills twice as fast, making you only start off with your chosen major skill. in addition you can choose one of five robot abilities. 1) lazor arms: arms turn into lazor guns. 2) camouflage: invisibility. 3)super strength: do I really need to explain this? 4) Super speed. 5) Blades: you come with a standard plasma blade.
For the first six occupations, you get $100 at the start. Here is how you design a character:
Name: Preferably username. I hate having to remember who is who.
Gender: male or female
Race: answer unless a robot. Exotic races make things exciting.
Occupation: one of the above seven
Skills: Major: Minor: Don't forget custom major
Ability/ special skills:
Okay, I hope all of that wasn't confusing. after everbody is in, I'll post scenario.
