Match 29Pisano versus NoQuarterManaged by Pisano and Topace3kPisano has some experience taking down Minotaurs - he took down Gutstabber without too much trouble last round. NoQuarter knows he just needs to make it accross the ring and the fight will be all but his - to that end he bought a shield and trained hard in its use.
Pisano's first arrow misses wide right - a good sign for the Minotaur. Now half way across the field, he has high hopes. But Pisano's next shot is on target - hitting the Minotaur in the chest through his mail shirt. Just like Gutstabber before him, NoQuarter can't handle pain very well. He faints almost immediately. And that's pretty much the fight, Pisano can fire away and NoQuarter can't respond. He does regain conciousness briefly, but a shot to the lung sends him back to the dream world just as quickly. It takes about ten more shots before a bolt strikes him in the head. Pisano is a finalist, and NoQuarter will have a shot at lesser glory in the 3rd place match.

Both Dancing Dagger and Strange Wolf trained up their skills between rounds: niether made any equipment purchases. Dancing Dagger is very confident going into the match: he has never been hit before, and he has had particularly good success againt werewolves. Strange Wolf knows he has one important advantage over his opponent: his size. If he can use it to neutralize the Kobold's dodging skills he could very well win the match.
Strange Wolf tries to knock over the Kobald immediately: He charges at him and catches him off guard! Dancing Dagger is knocked over! Strange Wolf acts fast and cuts at the Kobold's leg, in hopes of disabling the creature permanently. His sword finds its mark and the Kobold's foot is severed!
However, Dancing Dagger is still armed with his deadly blade and strikes back quickly. He stabs Strange Wolf in the leg, penetrating all the way to the bone. Strange Wolf continues to attack, but all of his shots are parried.
Dancing Dagger soon gains the upper hand, and begins mincing up the Werewolf's limbs. He cuts of both legs, a tooth, and his left hand, along with various stabs. The werewolf grows pale and the strength leaves his body. He quickly succombs to blood loss and dies: but no one has yet given the fiesty Kobold such a challenge, and he will move on the the 3rd place match.
