Do you want to sell your old mail and greaves? You also might want to consider buying armor, shield and mace skill.

Yes I will sell my old ones and buy those skills.

I would like to know exactly what is being purchased- I may actually want to buy something instead of just leaving NoQuarter as is.

Match 23

Mountainchopper versus Duriel
Managed by Asehujiko/Prepaid Lenin and Duriel

Mountainchopper the Yeti seems to have grown a in a layer of thick leather skin, and Duriel the Human has completed his outer shell by purchasing a few more pieces of armor and a shield.
Mountainchopper goes with the charge and knock over strategy: this goes on for quite some time with no damage actually inflicted onto the hard-cased human. During this time, Duriel only manages one hit against with his steel whip, but it only causes a bruise. Finally, Duriel is pushed back to the side of the ring where history would seem to repeat itself. Mountainchopper hopes to crush Duriel against the wall, and he storms at him. But Duriel is rather agile despite all of his armor, and like Mcdeadude before him, jumps out of the way at the last possible second. The Yeti went right on passed him and into the wall, knocking itself unconscious. Duriel then when to work with his whip, striking vital areas all over the Yeti's body. Mountainchopper does manage to get up at one point, but only to give into pain and fall over again. Finally, Duriel lands the fatal headshot and the fight comes to an end.

Duriel is victorious, and advances to the next round!

Oh well.

That is the reason why I didn't take a larger creature in the first place, they tend to take themselves out.

Match 24

Strange Wolf versus Useless
Managed by Strange guy and Wyrms

Can Useless, the unarmed Goblin, take on the ferocious Werewolf named Strange Wolf? Strange Wolf is certainly not unarmed: he wields a giant two handed sword and knows how to use it. But Useless surprised us all by taking Gannondorf, who used his other-worldly whip to little affect.
Strange Wolf begins by charging the Goblin, but Useless easily jumps away! Useless, for whatever reason does not counterattack, and Strange Wolf charges again! This time he does not miss, and Useless is knocked to the ground. Now unable to dodge, Strange Wolf makes quick work of the helpless Goblin. His first hit penetrates deeply into the Goblin's midsection, rupturing a kidney. Strange Wolf twists his large sword around in the Goblin's innards, presumably causing massive damage. He then removes the sword and slashes Useless across the chest, tearing apart one of the lungs. His next hit severs the Goblin's left hand, the one after that cuts deeply into its right thigh. Four or five more similar stabs follow, and only stop when Useless finally bleeds out. The Goblin's life comes to an end, but Strange Wolf's quest for glory will continue as he proceeds to the Quarter-Finals.

Starnge Wolf is victorious, and advances to the next round!

Yeah, uh, the wooden armor probably didn't help at all.

I think you've adding it up wrong- I only had 15pts left over last round, giving me 220.

Looks like this will be my toughest fight yet- Duriel blocked or parried nearly every attack by the Yeti and still had armour after that. Suddenly werewolves ability to knock other gladiators over doesn't look too good... I'll have to think about what I'll take for a bit.

Yeah, I probably should have invested in some better armor. I didn't even get a chance to attack. :(

Pisano's upgrades for round 3...

Upgrade archery from adept (7) to accomplished (10) = 24 + 27 + 30 = 81
Upgrade crossbow from Expert (8) to Great(11) = 45+50+55 = 150

81+150 = 231, leaving me with 9 points left over.

I put 1 lvl in dodging (adept) for 35 points and 3 in axe (great) for 180 points, total 225 points, remainder 21.

You know, I think I'd rather change this a bit... only put 2 points in axe (accomplished), the extra points will be needed I'm sure.

I'd like to sell my bronze two-handed sword, purchase a steel two-handed sword and upgrade my fighting from skilled to talented and my sword skills from talented to expert. This should leave 13 points.
