This topic caused me to register. That should tell you how awesome this idea is.
I want to have a Dark Gnome named Gannon. He will have a Slade Whip (300 points) be a competent Lasher (30 points) and have Silver High Boots (10 points).
Let's see if I have correctly gamed the system.

Man, you'll be making heads explode like melons. I should probably start thinking about my equipment and skill setup now.

Are whips blunt? Crap. I should check you against a murderphant, and see where you are.

A quick stab would quickly kill you. Like seriously, you pick one thing, and it's high boots?
But what do I know? Perhaps it'll block a deadly shot to the foot.

Dude, don't underestimate whips. If he gets a headshot, it's all over.

I wasn't. I was underestimating the high boots.

And wouldn't a head shot with most anything kill anyone without a helm?
Specifically whips, battle axes, and war hammers?

Ideally, yes. It's just that whips really shouldn't be doing that.

Interesting. It would seem that thing can KILL. A murderphant. In two hits. One to the right front leg, which made it fall over and give into pain, and a hit to the head. Bam. Jammed the skull through the brain (but didn't break it). Yugi, will test yours. First, I will run GannonDorf again.

EDIT: Gannon, your results: Murderphant won with out getting hit. Your set-up is very hit or miss. With 16 people I'd say you have around 1/8 of winning, more or less. The logic behind that is: You need to win 4 matches to win total, but only lose 1 to lose overall, therefore, 1/4 base chance. Your set-up has two possibilities, with very little to consider inbetween, Hit first and win, or miss first and lose. That translates to a 1/2 chance of winning the round. 1/4 * 1/2 = 1/8. Will run Yugi now.

Yugi, that was impressive. You managed to beat the 'phant once, and leave it heavily bleeding the other time. Kilakan, that set-up was done almost exactly by someone else, with the only exception of the race. Get original.

Hit or miss is just my style. It makes wins much more satisfying.

And how dare any of you criticize the Silver High Boots? They are a fashion statement, not a piece of armor.

The tiny dodge and dagger creature is a good idea and also a common build in the SA thread, just try and make it your mission to take him out if it bugs you.
